Moving Along With A Blast From The Past!

Well Hello blogland!! Did you think I'd abandoned you all? lol It's been so long since I managed to post anything with the craziness that has been Christmas!
I hope you all had a fabulous time over the holiday and that some lovely crafting goodies found their way into your stockings, I know they did mine, and I got lots of storage as I'm determined to sort out my crafty chaos this year! I'd like to thank everyone who sent me gorgeous hand made cards, you will laugh to know that I've already started my Christmas cards for next year so I don't run out like this year!

I'm back today with a brand new challenge over at

Lili The Pink

Good morning blog land, I've sneaked in here with an extra post - not that I have time to spare - but I just couldn't let the LOTV challenge blog end without joining in one last time!
I will be so sad to see this close, I didn't always get time to play along - but I always wanted to!
I used Lili's Little Dancer (not for the first time either!) and I can't make a Christmas card without a Magnolia snowflake these days, a Marianne icicle border, good old nestie shapes, a feather and an array (that sounds posh doesn't it!) of hat pins. Not sure you can see the diamante one. The pink spotty paper is I think Wild Rose Studio.

Goodbye LOTV, closing may save me some money - but I doubt it! lol

Thanks for calling by

Let's Play Bingo @ LCI

Good morning again I'm back with my 2nd DT post of the morning.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING  FOR MY OLDIE BUT A GOODIE
POST PLEASE SCROLL DOWN

It's TLT time over at
and we are all getting in the party mood ready for Christmas.
The lovely Sue has decided we should be playing party games and has given us a game of
'BINGO'
We all chose our favourite embellishment and picked a square (Brilliant idea Sue) and this is what you have to play with
Pick a line, up, down or diagonal (from corner to corner) or if you want to show off (no names mentioned here lol but check out the challenge blog!) go for a full house! Be sure to let us know in your post which line you have chosen.

I've gone across the bottom with Buttons, Die Cuts & Pearls
And I've used one of my favourite LCI stamps Jack & Robyn 'Gotcha' available HERE
My papers are from an Echo Park Spots & Stripes Christmas 6x6 pad and I've finally got to use one of my new Memory Box dies. It's all glittered and blinged up but you can't see from this picture! The snowflake brads are from Sir Stampalot, I couldn't resist calling in on my way through the other day. When I was searching for a Christmas Animal stamp (for my other DT post today) I found 3 packs of these Christmas messages that I'd forgotten I had! As most of my cards have been made now I thought I ought to use one! The tiny buttons are Papermania.

I hope you can find time to join us for this challenge, the Ladybugs are resting their wings over Christmas so this will run till the 2nd of January. Remember you don't have to use an LCI stamp to join in but we love it when you do.
Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details and while you're there check to see if you made the top 3 or won last week and don't forget to see what the Ladybugs made for your inspiration and leave them some Ladybug love.

That's all from me for today, don't forget if you didn't get your Stamp Of The Month at half price last week there's still time HERE
Thank you for taking the time to visit

Christmas Animals @ Oldie But A Goodie

A very good morning to all my lovely blog friends, it looks like those up north are finally sharing their weather as we are expecting some nasty storms and winds! I'm heading out to the shops later and hopefully I won't have to go out of the door again for days!

It's time again for a brand new challenge at
I'd like to thank everyone who joined us for the last challenge, we had some beautiful entries and you can find the winner and top 3 announced on the main challenge blog.
This week our lovely Tracy is hosting and she would like to see
Christmas Animals
and as Christmas falls at the end of this challenge the powers that be have decided that this challenge will run for a month, giving us all a nice little break.

Now I had a major problem with this challenge - I don't own ANY Christmas animal stamps! I didn't know this until I was searching for one, so I had to think outside the box a bit and this
is what I came up with!
Yes? No? What do you think? Well it really made me smile while I was making it! lol The stamp is a Penny Black that I have had for ages and of course never used. The photograph looks a bit royal blue but it is actually navy. I've blinged up a Magnolia snowflake again (don't know what I'll put on my cards after Christmas!) done the same with a chipboard number and the sentiment are a mix of stickers and rub ons. Really simple and I hope you think - fun!

You can find all the details of the challenge plus the prize on offer on the main blog page and while your there check all the fabulous inspiration from my super teamies!

Remember to be in with a chance of winning you must use a stamped image that is at least 6 months old

Thank you for visiting this morning,

Moving Along - Quickly!

A very good frosty morning to you all my lovely blog friends. Still no sign of snow here, looks like those up north don't want to share!!
Thursday morning can only mean one thing in my crafting calendar.......a new challenge at
Thanks to those that entered Hazel's sketch last week, pop over to the main challenge blog to see if you made the top 3 or better still - won!
This week the Lovely Lisa is on duty, and she has given us the challenge of
Last Minute Christmas
So its quick makes all round, and Lisa you would be so proud of me I didn't 'faff' once in the making of this! From start to finish in 45 minutes! And I wish I'd made this weeks ago so I could have made 120 more, I love it so much, instead I bought them from M&S!
I have made cards for all my crafty friends though - I daren't buy cards for you lot!!! I took the image into Photoshop and gave it a brown overlay, so not even any colouring involved this week. Matted and layered it up on 3 different colours. Stamped directly onto my card (my is that nerve wracking!) with a Stampin Up sentiment, stuck on some gorgeous gingham from WOC, tied a bow, whacked it on and blinged up a Magnolia snowflake, layered it up a la Julie and that's it!

We have our regular sponsor this week, the fabulous

Gingerbread Time

Good Morning and a very happy Sunday morning to you all. I'm afraid I've been AWOL again, this time I was wiped out with a migraine. It's the first I've had for about 10 years so at least they're not too frequent for me thank goodness.
I've not been able to craft for 5 days and I'm now so behind with my DT work! I was just getting ahead of myself nicely and I'd found the time to make another card just for fun, so at least I have something to post today.
You all know how much I love my Magnolia's! Since I've been blogging I've actually used some - they are not just for looking at now! This is Gingerbread Tilda, I think from a year or so ago. The die cut wreath is Memory Box again, the little wooden deer is from WOC along with the roses and the pearls, the gold baubles and leaf are from a Christmas decoration I dismantled and the sentiment is LOTV The lace is adhesive, I've had it for ages and never used it!

Right I'm off to catch up on all my blog visits and comments, so maybe I'll see you later!

I thought I'd have a change from Christmas cards, but I soon have to get back to them as I don't have anywhere near enough!
I've used one of my many Stampin Bella images that I have had for years. I've kept it all really simple, plain card in 3 colours, the sentiment in printed on the ribbon that has also been in my stash for a while, the white panel is embossed with hearts, I think its cuttlebug but I could be wrong! The die cut border is Magnolia, I know its pink but its still Magnolia LOL

Hello everyone, happy Sunday to you all. This is a rare post for me as I found a little extra time to play this week with some images that I've wanted to for ages, that's right not a DT in sight this is just for fun!

I love Kenny K's and I've had this for so long if I didn't get it coloured and posted soon it would have to wait till next Christmas! Meet the lovely 'Mistletoe'
I had this fabulous paper pad from Echo Park, Christmas Spots and Stripes, every sheet is gorgeous and I've been desperate to use it and I thought this image was perfect for the traditional red and green colour combo. I've used some fluffy stuff for the fur trim again, love this technique its ideal for Christmas.

Moving Along With some Pretty Little Ribbons

Good Morning blog lovers, hope it's not too frosty in your part of the world, it hasn't been here cos the salt air stops us having much frost but my Mum tells me she has had a proper white welcome these last couple of mornings!

Thursday seems to come around faster than ever just lately, I reckon it must be my age! LOL
I've been quite poorly for the last few days and I want to thank everyone for all the get well wishes you have all been leaving me, I can't believe how kind everyone has been. Sniff sniff. Feeling loads better now so business as usual and time for a new challenge at

and this week my lovely friend Debs is hosting and she wants to see some
Ribbons & Bows
 Here is my contribution
I've kept my card pretty simple this week as I didn't want to cover up too much of these gorgeous Bo Bunny papers, I was tempted to just stick a piece of the lush paper on the front of a card blank, it's so so gorgeous! The cute image as you will recognise is LOTV, my collection of these is growing but I never find enough time to play with them, this is one of my favourite of this years Christmas release. The flower I have had forever from Prima, I have a problem with using the stuff I buy, I think I prefer to look at it and stroke it LOL
The pearls and ribbons are from my stash. Thanks to my lovely friend Jill for the fab tip - I don't buy pearls in every colour anymore - I colour them with my copics now.

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details and check out the fabulous inspiration from the DT The girls have done a brilliant job for you this week! It's a super little challenge and growing stronger and stronger each week with some fabulous prizes up for grabs.

This week we have a new sponsor

I hope you're all well or at least better than me as I seem to have caught something nasty over the weekend and have had to drag myself out of bed to make this post.

Moving Along With A Fairytale

Once upon a time in a land far away (encase you hadn't guessed I'm on holiday) there was a little blog called
it was a lovely little blog, it gave away fabulous prizes to really nice, clever people, and this blog had a Fairy Godmother called Hazel. Hazel liked
Fairytales
she wanted all the people in the surrounding lands to like fairytales, she wanted all the people to use fairytales as an inspiration to everything they made.

On this blog was a beautiful young (OK OK I'm using artistic licence here) girl called CinderLaurie, CinderLaurie made a card for the nice blog
Upon this card was all the things CinderLaurie dreamed of, oh where oh where could her Prince Charming Edwin be? Was he back in the land of Magnolia? She'd danced with him under the stars in the garden with the rolled roses and butterflies on the night of the Prima papers ball, when she'd lost her shoe running away as the clock struck 9pm and she didn't want to miss Downton Abbey.

CinderLaurie had sisters (oh God they are so gonna kill me for this!) who had made cards too, and all the people from the surrounding lands flocked to the little blog to look at their cards. Their cards were beautiful and they were beautiful too, no one is ugly in this fairytale ha!

There was a beautiful cloud, it was a
and this beautiful Crimson Cloud had a wonderful gift to give away to someone on the little blog, someone special.
And they all lived happily ever after.
The End.

Hope you liked my fairytale LOL
I'll be back from my hols next week and get around to catching up on all your blogs
Love 'n' Big Hugs Laurie xx

And as if by magic Cinderlauries Fairy godmother would like to enter the card into the following challenges ...

TOMIC- Edwin and sketch

One more thing.....every Ladybug is offering Blog Hop candy on their blog, to be eligible for this you have to have commented on each blog on the Hop and they will choose their winners from the list of commenter's.
Here's my candy

Right, now you need to know that the next stop on the Hop is Kerry's blog but don't worry if you get lost - just head back to the main challenge blog and start again!
