Buttons & Bow & Bon Voyage!

Morning everyone I'm a little excited today (I've been excited lots of days running up to this weekend) this is the last card I will be here to post before I fly off on holiday at the weekend. I have scheduled a few posts while I'm away but I won't be around to visit you and comment. Someone has to lay around in the sunshine all day and I'm taking one for the team!!! I couldn't believe it when a friend of mine said she had rented a house in Barbados and she had a bedroom going spare if I wanted it? What is even harder to believe is it took me a week to decide if I wanted to go!!!! Finally I came to my senses and booked a flight so its adios amigos for a couple of weeks.

Back down to earth with a bump though, first things first, it's time for a new challenge at

DIVA'S BY DESIGN

and this week Rebekah has given us

Buttons and Bows

Easy peasy lemon squeasy just how I like them!!
I've had this Saturated Canary Pack Light image on my desk coloured for ages and I thought it would be fitting for me going away (I wish I looked that glamorous when I'm trying to squeeze everything in my case) The papers are MME and a couple of years old at least. Lots of die cuts, LaLa Land banner, Magnolia So Lovely heart tag, Marianne (I think) Eiffel Tower. The little cream hearts are buttons that I chopped the back off and I adore the pearl string from Live & Love Crafts.

Head over to the main challenge blog for all details of this weeks challenge and the prize on offer from the sponsor

and some amazing inspiration from the Diva's, you won't be disappointed!

Beautiful Borders @ Totally PaperCrafts

Hello again, I'm back with my 2nd post in 2 days. So far so good with keeping up lol, it used to take me a week to make one card!! I am working hard to stay ahead as I will be working soon and my time crafting will be short.
If all  goes to plan I'm actually on my way to my Mum's for the night ready to get an early start at the NEC craft show in the morning (Mum lives 20 miles away, I live 120 miles away!) Hopefully I'm meeting Pam, Debs, Claire & Sharon and maybe some more lovely crafters. Let me know if you're going, I'd love to meet you!

Today it's time for a new challenge at

Totally Papercrafts

and this week my lovely friend Wendy is hosting, she has chose the theme

Beautiful Borders

I have so many borders but decided to use my first and still favourite lace Doo Hickey die.

The image is Fortune Teller Ellie, one of a fabulous new release from the

and the lovely owner/artist Christine emailed to ask me if I would like to  GD for her and make something with them, of course I jumped at the opportunity and as I'm flying off on holiday next week and time is short I've combined the 2 tasks today. The papers are (again I hear you moan) from a Maja paper pad, I'm not sure which one. Flowers from everywhere!!

So.......head over to the totally Papercrafts challenge blog for all the details on this weeks challenge, the prize on offer to win the winner and some beautiful border inspiration from my talented teammies, then head over to the Paper Nest Dolls to check out the cutest little characters available.

That's all from me today, thank you for stopping by
and for any comments you may leave

Photo Inspiration @ MAWTT

A jolly good morning to all you lovely people, while I'm writing this (scheduled) it's a glorious sunny day I do hope it's lasted! I hope you are all well and happy. I'm on a mission to get ahead with all my DT work and so far so good.
I'm here today to tell you about a new challenge at

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

and this week my lovely friend Pam is hosting, she gave us this pretty picture to work from so its a

Photo Inspiration

You can interpret it how you wish, colours, spring, sweets etc

After my mishap of posting my DT card a week early a few weeks ago I'm taking no chances and putting the inspiration picture first!! I don't have to worry about Janice peeking, this was sent to her for her birthday so I know she has it now. Here's my take on the challenge

Ummmm, my green looks a bit darker on this picture, I don't remember it being that dark. I used some giant nesties to cut out the card shape and the cutest little Mo Manning image. Inside the greeting says ' Wish Big' lol just like her knickers!! I'm in love with my PTI 'birthday' die, I just wish they weren't so expensive to mail stuff here. My usual flowers only this time I experimented with air brushing them different colours. I've only had my Copic airbrush kit about 5 years and not used it till I did these white flowers pink and green. It's sooooooooooo cool, I want to airbrush everything!!!

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details of the challenge and some gorgeous inspiration from my lovely talented teammies.
I'll be back tomorrow. I'm going to the NEC on Saturday if anyone wants to meet up, I'm already meeting some lovely friends again who I haven't seen for ages.
Thank you for stopping by

Anything Magnolia @ Diva's

Good morning guys, I hope you are all well and have been enjoying the glorious sunshine we've had lately. It was still sunny here yesterday but an awful lot cooler than  last weekend when it was absolutely beautiful!
I'm here today with a new challenge at

DIVA'S BY DESIGN

and this week is right up my street!!

Anything Magnolia

Those of you that know me, know I love Tilda and the gang so I'm really happy about this challenge so much so that you would have thought I'd spent ages on my favourite girl lol, well wrong!!! I haven't had a chance to make anything this week but just like a Blue Peter presenter - here's one I made earlier!! Before Christmas actually, and I used it for Christmas, I did put the recipients name on it, die cut letters just along the ribbon. She loved it!
I already had the bag, I think it came from Sainsbury's lol.
It actually shimmered and sparkled lovely with all the mirri card and glitter. I think most if not all the papers are from Prima but I might be wrong. It was that long ago I made it I can't remember!!

We have a fabulous sponsor this week

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details and some stunning inspiration from the team. I'm pleased to report they did get around to making some fabulous stuff for you.
I did mean to take some pictures of the building site that used to be my front room but I forgot till I just wrote this, I will take some to post next time just encase you're interested.

That's it from me today, I"m going to lunch with a friend so that should be nice!!

Female Birthdays @ TPC

Hello again, I'm getting used to this 2 days on a row thing now lol though I have cheated a bit here as the card I'm about to show you was made before Christmas and not blogged and it was perfect for the new challenge this week at

TOTALLY PAPERCRAFTS

the lovely Cathy KraftyKoolKat chose the theme

Female Birthday

I'm using this time to try and get ahead with my DT work, I must admit it was nice having one already done!!
I made this for my blogging buddy (Kerry obviously) for her 50th (obvious again!) not sure why it didn't get blogged at the time. I love this Kenny K image and the papers are Maja Designs, can't remember which pad sorry. My usual over the top floral display and a super doo hickey swirl die cut.

Head over to the main challenge blog for some super gorgeous inspiration from my teammies and all the details of the challenge including the prize on offer from this weeks sponsor

Moody Blues @ MAWTT

Morning Peeps, hope all's well in your world. I'm knee deep in building renovations and I'm enjoying myself soooooooooooo much! I haven't had this much fun for ages, I'm not sure the builders are as happy as me cos I'm kind of winging it a bit and changing things as we go along but it's gonna be so nice!!!!! (I'm scheduling this post but I'll try and think to take some pictures).
I also got invited to go on holiday with some friends the other day and I'm so tempted as I missed my holiday in January because I was in hospital. I can't think of a good reason not to go so by the time you read this I might have booked my flight!!
Enough of my rubbish, the reason I"m here is a new challenge over at

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

and this week the lovely Debs is hosting with

Moody Blues

She has given us a fabulous mood board for inspiration and I love the name of the challenge, very clever Debs (even if I'm far too young to remember the Moody Blues!)

This is what I came up with
I finally used some Go Kreate dies that I'd bought ages ago and the fab Joy bingo board stamps for the first time too, the cute little Sassy Cheryl stamp I've had for a while and I love, my usual flowers, quite simple but I like it!
Head over to the main challenge blog to see the fabulous mood board and some gorgeous makes from my talented teammies, they have pushed the boat out this week, you won't be disappointed!!

Right that's it from me today, I'll be busy making tea for the workers, I'll be back tomorrow with a card I made before Christmas and didn't get around to blogging.

Thank you for stopping by
