Buttons & Bow & Bon Voyage!

Morning everyone I'm a little excited today (I've been excited lots of days running up to this weekend) this is the last card I will be here to post before I fly off on holiday at the weekend. I have scheduled a few posts while I'm away but I won't be around to visit you and comment. Someone has to lay around in the sunshine all day and I'm taking one for the team!!! I couldn't believe it when a friend of mine said she had rented a house in Barbados and she had a bedroom going spare if I wanted it? What is even harder to believe is it took me a week to decide if I wanted to go!!!! Finally I came to my senses and booked a flight so its adios amigos for a couple of weeks.

Back down to earth with a bump though, first things first, it's time for a new challenge at

and this week Rebekah has given us

Buttons and Bows

Easy peasy lemon squeasy just how I like them!!
I've had this Saturated Canary Pack Light image on my desk coloured for ages and I thought it would be fitting for me going away (I wish I looked that glamorous when I'm trying to squeeze everything in my case) The papers are MME and a couple of years old at least. Lots of die cuts, LaLa Land banner, Magnolia So Lovely heart tag, Marianne (I think) Eiffel Tower. The little cream hearts are buttons that I chopped the back off and I adore the pearl string from Live & Love Crafts.

Head over to the main challenge blog for all details of this weeks challenge and the prize on offer from the sponsor

and some amazing inspiration from the Diva's, you won't be disappointed!

That's it from me, thank you for stopping by
I love reading your comments

Love 'n' Hugs Laurie xx

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges....

Happy Holidays Laurie - hope you have a wonderful break - you certainly deserve it. Thats another super Sat Can card - I love your colours and colouring sooo much and your card is finished perfectly with all those gorgeous diecuts & flowers. Top of the class as usual. PS Pink - love pink cards but just cant do them myself. Find I always get a rather dull pink when I try to blend Promarkers and I always find it really hard to match pink papers with my dull pink image - hope this clarifies as I loved my pinky card from you - but you use copics and there in lies the answer - I think!!! Gorgeous, beautiful and stunning, card, love the colours but just feel that there is a little bit of room left for you to have added something else, lol.
Thanks so much for your comments and I do so hope you have a fantastic time and a really good rest.
The duty free shops at the Cruise terminal are really cheap but not sure if you can get in from the other side so to speak.
Also if where you are staying has a quiz night and one of the questions is what is the name of the piolet in the song I'm going to Barbados, it is Tobias Willcox flying with Coconut airways.
Ask me another?
Again, have a fabulous time and I really must get to know your friend, she can me me an offer I couldn't refuse too. lol.

Love Kath x
