Halloween @ MAWTT

Morning all from the sunny beach in Tenerife, hopefully I'm cooking nicely!
Time for another new challenge at

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

and it's Team A's turn to share with you the theme of

Halloween

Now I know I was on Team B but the lovely Hazel did a reshuffle for me so I didn't have to post the only 2 cards I'm likely to make in a week on consecutive days! As I don't really send Halloween cards I thought I'd make some treat bags for when the kids come knocking!!

I'm sorry they were so difficult to photograph as the cellophane bags kept reflecting the light! The said bags were from my lovely friend Zoe at Stampin Up! (link in my side bar) and I used the cute little 'Bobblehead Ghost' from Bugaboo for a couple and made another 2 really plain. I will have to make some more but I still have lots of time.

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details and some scary inspiration
from the MAWTT crew.

Thank you for stopping by today and don't forget to join in the fun at MAWTT

A jolly good morning to you all. I'm really excited today as tomorrow is the day when Debs, Claire, Pami, Lisa and I all get to meet up, some of us for the first time!!
(I actually wrote that before I woke up yesterday with the flu! I'm still excited through the coughing fits and streaming eyes and nose - I can't believe I'm going to meet my lovely friends and I'm dying!!)

Today is first though and that brings a brand new challenge over at

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

and our lovely Yorkshire Lass Lisa is in charge of

'In The Dark'

ooooooooh scary!!! Lisa loves anything Halloween!!

This little man looks more scared than scary!
He's from our fabulous sponsor this week

The papers are Echo Park and the little bats are a Memory Box die and I had some googly eyes that I stuck on, the little bat needs to grow into his eyes lol
The shapes are Spellbinders and coloured with Copic (both available at Stampin' Scrapping Central)
Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details of this challenge and some fabulous spooky inspiration from the girls.

Heck of a Spooky Challenge

Good morning guys its the start of a brand new month and that means a brand new challenge at

HECK OF A CHALLENGE

and this month Carrie came up with

  Spook It Up!

oooooh scary scary lol
This is Lisa's all time favourite theme as she is an absolute Halloween nut!!

I thought I would stretch myself and NOT make a card this time
and I used a chipboard door hanger I got from the Craft and Hobby Store when Pam and I went up to visit Lisa's earlier this year.
I covered the hanger with last year's Halloween papers from Echo Park 'Apothecary collection' and the little ghost and Frankenstein are 'Simply Shelley' stickers that I stuck on acetate, they have been in my stash for an age! The blinged up bat branch is also one of last years purchases from Prima and was in my opinion the perfect addition to the hanger! The die cut fence is a memory box gate that I cut out 3 times and stuck together.

Head over to the Heck Of A Challenge blog for all the details of this challenge and some seriously spooky makes from my teammies - they have really pushed the boat out this month!! While you are there don't forget to see if you were the lucky winner of our first challenge or maybe one of the TOP PICKS.

That's it from me today I have lots of organising to do before I head up north to meet my favourite girlies!

Thanks for stopping by

BOO!

Hello Peeps me again! Surprise surprise I'm back with a card I made for fun! Haven't had a lot of time for that lately what with work, I was struggling to keep up with my DT stuff but that's all changed now, I've made all next weeks DT cards so out came my beloved Magnolias to play!!

Please scroll down for my MAWTT DT post

I don't usually send Halloween cards so I wouldn't normally make one, but someone I know is Halloween mad so this card will be on its way to her by the end of the month, I'm sure she won't mind seeing it on here first!
I'm not sure what's happening to my photography skills lately but all the colours seem to be coming out wrong - this is much 'warmer' in real life than it looks here! I've obviously pressed something on my camera that I shouldn't have LOL!

The papers are mixed, one is Fancy Pants and the other Echo Park - both extremely lovely. The little bat is a sticker from Simply Shelly that has been kicking around my stash for years, I stuck in onto a piece of acetate and cut around it and the leaves are Cheery Lynn. The chipboard letters were already black so I didn't have to do much there. The ribbon is organza, I tried to wrap it round like a bandage and lovely Edwin was coloured with copics and distressed with TH Antique Linen

Thank you to everyone who reads my drivel and leaves the lovely comments I really do appreciate them, I know how much time it takes to leave them and actually make something!

I had an amazing time at The Ritz yesterday, my how the other half live!! We ate so much food for our 'tea' that I couldn't eat anything else all day! All washed down with 2 glasses of lovely champagne - Yum! The pianist played Happy Birthday and they appeared with a cake for me (only 1 candle fortunately) and everyone clapped - I was so embarrassed

As it's Thursday already this week it's time for a brand new challenge at
