Halloween @ MAWTT

Morning all from the sunny beach in Tenerife, hopefully I'm cooking nicely!
Time for another new challenge at

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

and it's Team A's turn to share with you the theme of

Halloween

Now I know I was on Team B but the lovely Hazel did a reshuffle for me so I didn't have to post the only 2 cards I'm likely to make in a week on consecutive days! As I don't really send Halloween cards I thought I'd make some treat bags for when the kids come knocking!!

I'm sorry they were so difficult to photograph as the cellophane bags kept reflecting the light! The said bags were from my lovely friend Zoe at Stampin Up! (link in my side bar) and I used the cute little 'Bobblehead Ghost' from Bugaboo for a couple and made another 2 really plain. I will have to make some more but I still have lots of time.

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details and some scary inspiration
from the MAWTT crew.

Thank you for stopping by today and don't forget to join in the fun at MAWTT

Inspired By a Song @ OBAG

Hello Blogland it's my favourite challenge today at
and I chose it LOL!

Inspired By A Song

Doncha just love it!! I do, it makes me laugh out loud when I check out everyone's posts! And boy oh boy is it good to have some laughter in your life! and singing, not that I can sing lol I'm tone deaf!

I went to the Theatre at Leicester the other day with some friends and I took my mum for her birthday. We went to see 'Hot Stuff' it was all 70's music and everyone, and I mean everyone, was singing and dancing all the way through it! If it comes to a town near you go and see it, it was a real trip down memory lane and non stop laughs!

Here is my little offering, I'm showing my age with my song choice!!
My dad was always singing Dean Martin songs when I was growing up, and my mum's a Frank Sinatra fan so I love a bit of 'Rat Pack'

Inspired by Dean Martin's
'Little Old Wine Drinker Me'
I'd made this card ages ago when I got the sponsor mixed up (I thought it was Bugaboo) and it isn't!! We have a super sponsor

Well guys can you believe the sun shone all day yesterday but no doubt today will be another very soggy morning - lovely weather for Ducks - we're having!
Is anyone else as hot as me or is just my age! I have never been so humid and grumpy!

Anyway that's far too much information for a Tuesday morning!

and this week Francesca is hosting with a fab theme of

Flower Power

Groovy baby or what! We all love flowers don't we?
Once again out came the flower trio dies from MFT they really are one of MFT! lol The spotty paper is from my stash and didn't have a name and the red check is Stampin' Up. I printed out the sentiment on my computer and used a MFT label die to cut it out.

Buntings & Banners @ Oldie But A Goodie

Hello again lovely blog friends, have you all gone back to work and normality after all the celebrations?
I've had to work through it all so I'm hoping for a little quieter time in the next few days, and hopefully I'll get to catch up with you all!

I'm back with a DT make for the fabulous

OLDIE BUT A GOODIE

and this time the very lovely (who I hope to soon meet) Claire is hosting and she has given us a fabulous theme of

Bunting or Banners

well this is perfect for me as I'm addicted to my Doo Hickey pennant die and can't resist using it at every available opportunity!
I'm also addicted to cutting out numbers on my Cricut lol I've only had it 3 years and never used it and now I've used it 3 times in a week!! The fabby papers are Bo Bunny Ad Lib, I love the bright colours, the brown card is from Stampin' Up, the image of course is Birthday Clyde from the amazing Bugaboo who are this weeks sponsor

Punches & Dies @ Oldie But Goodie

A very good morning to you all out there, I'm actually away in the Lake District or at least I hope I am! There are 8 couples so it should be a lot of fun though I'm not too sure about all the walking! Last year we all went to the Italian Lakes and had a heatwave, not expecting the same weather here!

It's time for my crazy week of a post on 3 consecutive days and to start the week this time its over to

OLDIE BUT A GOODIE

and the very lovely Janice is in charge! Time to get busy with the cutting and show us your

Punches & Die Cuts

I used Stella from this weeks sponsor the mighty ' Bugaboo' and made this into a Passed your test card as when I needed one recently I didn't have one. The main card has been made with the largest of the nesties scalloped circle and the fabby clouds are from Dienamics MFT.
Coloured with Copics, the paper is I think MME, but it was just a scrap laying around so I could be wrong! The ribbon, buttons and card have all come from my stash.
Head over to the main challenge blog to see some more fabulous inspiration from my lovely team mates and all the details of this challenge.

Remember to tell us what you have used that is over 6 months old to qualify for the prize.

As I mentioned already this week we are sponsored by Bugaboo

Merry Christmas @ MAWTT

Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas!
No I haven't gone mad (well actually that's another story cos I probably have!) we really are having Christmas in April, that's the royal we aka

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

and Hazel has chosen the theme

Christmas

lol I don't mind as it means I have started my Christmas cards!
Yes - a mini card! I think I will be making quite a few of these for Christmas this year, in fact I wish I'd made more than one of this one as I quite like it! Time is a bit short for me at the minute and mini cards aren't too taxing for me lol, not so much space to fill though they still take me more time than you'd believe!
The papers are quite old DCWV and my snowflake die is a Doo Hickey and the cute little image was given me to play with by this weeks fabulouso sponsor

http://www.bugaboostamps.com/

I love Bugaboo, I never struggle with their images and can always churn out something I'll like! This is Winter Girlz, head over to the challenge blog to see what my fabby gorgeous team mates have made  for your inspiration and all the details of the challenge.

Mum's The Word @ Oldie But Goodie!

Good Morning lovely bloggers, or should I say not so good as the weather has gone mad again here! Surely all this rain should help with the drought they were talking about last week!

It's time for a brand new challenge today at
and it's little old me that's hosting this week!
I decided to be organised (for the first time in my life) and make sure my card was ready for that Special Lady in my life in plenty of time! So this week...

Mum's The Word

I'm thinking Mothers Day but there's no reason you can't use a birthday card for your Mum too.

Now my Mother has a good sense of humour (she had to after having me!) so this Stella from sponsor Bugaboo was an ideal choice, and I added my own sentiment to the inside
Sorry about the grey picture of the inside, even Photoshop couldn't brighten this up yesterday! I'm lovin' these spots and stripes 6x6 pads from Echo Park, regular visitors will be fed up with them I'm sure!
I have to use them at least once a week lol
About 18 months ago I had to make lots of menu's and place cards for a function using red roses and as usual for me I bought far too many and these are left over from then.

We have a fabulous sponsor
http://www.bugaboostamps.com/

They are giving the winner

I was lucky enough to win a challenge sponsored by Bugaboo the other week and I could have chosen a hundred stamps - they are all so much fun!

Head over to the main challenge blog for some more inspiration from the DT.

Remember the new rules state you can use a digital image but don't forget to tell us what is old that you have used on your card.
Thanks for lookingLove 'n' Hugs

Chicken Soup @ MAWTT

OMG! How late am I this week!
I'm writing this post as quick as I can to make the challenge time, now I know how the White Rabbit felt, at this point the card you are about to see isn't finished, it has no inside but I plan on getting it done PDQ and editing my post.

So onto this weeks challenge at
and this week our little Shell has chosen

GET WELL SOON

Honestly I know so many people who have been ill I need to make at least a dozen of these! (bit of a joke as I haven't even managaed to finish this one!)
Once again I have been inspired by the now infamous MARY J. I saw this image on her blog and fell in love, Mary you are costing me a fortune!
The image is now one of my favourite! Its called Chicken Soup and its from Bugaboo. I swear by chicken soup when I'm not well. The flowers are a die cut from Dienamics and all the shapes are Nesties.
Edited to show inside!
I got it done at last! and this is now on its way to my poorly friend.

We have a lovely new sponsor
The prize is a $10 voucher to spend in store.

Please head over to the main challenge blog if you haven't come from there and check out all the inspiration from the fabby DT and GDT.

Oldie But A Goodie and a Sneak Peek!!

Good Morning blogland hope all is well with those who had some snow and sad face for those that didn't as you didn't get to build snowmen! We had a good few inches here and as it was so windy too it drifted so it was pretty deep in places, not that I've been outside yet!
I hope it all melts soon though as I'm off up North to visit Lisa on Thursday with Pami, and I don't want to be driving in snow and ice! We are going to the show at Manchester on the Friday if anyone is going give us a nudge, it will be great to meet up.

Now to business!
I have a little surprise at the bottom of my post so make sure you read to the end!

First things first and it time for a new challenge at
and this week SARA is hosting and would like to see
Lace
and inside
I've used flowers from WOC and Echo Park Country Drive 6x6 paper pad, my little nylon butterflies have been in my stash for years along with the lace. I'm not a lace person usually.
We were kindly given some fabulous images to play with by this weeks sponsor
Bugaboo

and this is Flower Gals Violet available HERE
Coloured with Copics and I've used a Spellbinder nestie inside bot available from Stamping Scrapping Central.
I added the flowers over the flowers on the image and was quite pleased how it turned out!
Head over to the main OBAG challenge blog for all the details of this weeks fabulous prize and some great inspiration from my lovely team mates and while your there check out the winners from the last challenge - it might be you!
Remember to be in with a chance of winning you must use something on your card/project that is over 6 months old.

Now for a little sneak peek
You may remember me telling you that Ladybugs Craft Ink are having a new release with a blog hop next week
Well I'm allowed to show you just a teeny tiny snippet from my top secret image! Even the other ladybugs haven't seen each others images so we can hardly contain ourselves!
I know I know its a bit blurred! I hadn't coloured it until last night so I had to take a picture at night with the flash and its not the best picture but just you wait till you see the whole thing!!

I have to apologise if I didn't get around to visiting you much this week, I've been trying to get ahead with my DT cards for my little trip to Yorkshire!
Thanks for looking I'll be back tomorrow with my first 'official' post for the Diva's.
Love 'n' Hugs Laurie

Good Morning lovely people it's Thursday already and time for a new challenge at

Pop over to the main challenge blog to see if you were a winner and for all the details of this weeks challenge, set by our very own (and very poorly at the minute) Hazel, who has chosen for her theme...
Fantasy
Now this could come in lots of guises but I chose to use a fairy on my card
Not your average everyday fairy is she? lol
We were very kindly given some fab images to play with from this weeks sponsor
who are offering the winner this fabulous prize
This is the second card I made for this challenge, I was rushing the first one because I didn't have a lot of time and when I'd finished it, I hated it!
So less haste more speed is very true!

I chose to make a New Baby card as I actually need two of these, one baby is already here (Hello Henry James) and one has a couple of weeks to go, can you believe I'm going to be a 'Great Great Aunt'!! I'm not old enough!!
This is Bentley, isn't he Fab! I love this sentiment it makes me laugh every time I see it lol He is from Bugaboo, who have some really funny images to choose from. I've kept this really simple as it's for a boy, a nice plain ribbon and three little buttons ooh and I cut the big scallop edge with my new Die Namics Die, I love it...I first saw it on Mary J's blog. I've even done the inside of this card which I always mean to but hardly ever get around to!

I hope you all get time to play along with us this week, be sure to check out the fabulous makes from the very talented DT on the main blog page.

Good morning bloggers is it just me or are these weeks just flying by? I can hardly believe it's the last day of March!

A couple of weeks ago when I was commenting on entries for our challenge I came across a card fold  I had never seen before (I lead such a sheltered life!) the lovely Lynn from Lynnn's Scraps sent me this tutorial link which I couldn't wait to try out
This is my first attempt, it's really easy to do, it looks much more complicated that it actually was. I have used Making Memories DP's, Prima flowers and ribbon from my stash. The happy anniversary is a rub on. The sentiment inside is Bugaboo
