Moving Along With Brand Spanking New

Good Morning lovely bloggers I hope the sun is shining on you today, it certainly hasn't been here! I'd like to say Hello to my new followers, I've been a really bad blogger at visiting you all but I will try harder in the future! I'm really excited today as I made the Top 3 over at Magnolia Mania and those of you that know me will know how much I love my little Magnolia stamps!

It's Thursday already which means new challenge time at
I'd like to thank everyone who entered last week we had some very cute and cuddly cards. Don't forget to visit the main challenge blog to see if you were a winner.

This week my lovely teamie Pami is hosting and she has chosen a theme of
'Brand Spanking New'
This could be a 'New Baby' a 'New Job' a 'New Home'
So you have lots of options, you may even have a different one to these, Pami also has some gorgeous blog candy on offer for her blogaversary

We are sponsored this week by
The prize is a £10 Voucher to spend in store and with lots of new stock arriving there's plenty to spend it on

I chose to make a New Baby card as I actually need two of these, one baby is already here (Hello Henry James) and one has a couple of weeks to go, can you believe I'm going to be a 'Great Great Aunt'!! I'm not old enough!!
This is Bentley, isn't he Fab! I love this sentiment it makes me laugh every time I see it lol He is from Bugaboo, who have some really funny images to choose from. I've kept this really simple as it's for a boy, a nice plain ribbon and three little buttons ooh and I cut the big scallop edge with my new Die Namics Die, I love it...I first saw it on Mary J's blog. I've even done the inside of this card which I always mean to but hardly ever get around to!

I hope you all get time to play along with us this week, be sure to check out the fabulous makes from the very talented DT on the main blog page.

Thanks for looking and to those of you that do, for your comments
I'll be back in the next few days with some special birthday candy

Love 'n' Hugs Laurie xx

Ahoy Me Hearty's

Hello lovely bloggers its a really really quick post from me as I should be at work!! I had a horrible day yesterday so I headed to my craft room to calm myself down last night and came up with this little card to share with you today.
I've been wanting to enter the TOMIC challenge since it started but never found the time to fit in the right card. I'd printed out this image to use as it's long been a favourite and when my new paper from Maja turned up this week as did my navy silk ribbon this card virtually made it's self!
My lovely teamie Debs taught me how to cut with nesties outside the frame as I'd been wanting to have ago and Edwins feet were the perfect opportunity!

I hope your having a lovely weekend wherever you are
Thank you for looking

I Wanna Be Kenny's Girl

Hello my lovely blogging friends, I'm scheduling this post and we have a gorgeous red sky here tonight so I hope that means a beautiful sunny day for us all on Tuesday!
I've managed to get myself a little organised and this is the 2nd card I've posted this week that isn't made for a DT!
I probably should be getting ahead with my DT work as I just may get busy at work in August but it's lovely to have a play and make things for fun!
I wanted to make this card to join in the terrific blog hop over at Kenny K they have some fantastic prizes up for grabs and I love Kenny's girls, I just don't get enough time to use them. This is only my 2nd attempt at Kenny K images and my first won me a prize at Bling It On!!
This little girl looks a bit like she's been to Glastonbury for a week and has a dirty face as I was too impatient to wait for the printer ink to dry and she's smudged a bit!! lol
Mary J introduced me to this luscious MME paper pad and I had to send to the USA to buy it as it was sold out everywhere. All That Scraps had it in stock and it arrived in no time. The flowers and ribbon are from WOC and I attempted to use a rub on sentiment again after my disaster last week and luckily this one worked!

Thank you for stopping by and looking and for any comments

Lili's Little Dancer

Morning everyone, notice I didn't say good! It's raining so hard here and it looks like it's in for the day!
A very quick post from me today as I'm supposed to be at work. I've been trying to find enough time to enter the LOTV challenge for weeks but never managed it. This week I was determined to come up with something and lo and behold - I've got days to spare!!
Once again this is the first time this lovely little lady has seen an ink pad - so many stamps, so little time - I seem to be going through a 'feather phase' and may have got a little carried away! The gorgeous roses are from WOC and so are the pearl stamen. As always I've coloured with Copics.

I hope your weekend is brighter than mine, if not you'll all get plenty of time to craft!
Thank you for dropping by and to those that do - for the comments

Moving Along With Your Favourite Things

Good Morning it's time for another DT card from me as it's Thursday which means a new challenge over at
Thanks to everyone who entered Shell's Christmas challnge last week, there were some fabulous cards, please check the main blog to see if you were one of the lucky winners.

This weeks it was my turn to host and I chose
Favourite Things
Nice and easy peasy and we all get to play with our favourites. It could be stamps, papers, colours or a technique or all of them and more! As long as you tell us in your post.

No question for me what my favourite is......
Magnolia Stamps!!!
I also used some of my favourite MME papers, added some of my favourite flat back pearls, tied a little favourite pink ribbon and I should have a favourite card right? Wrong!!!
I added a favourite 'rub on' which didn't rub on! It just left a dirty great glue mark and no letters so I had to adapt the layout a little, and Tilda is hiding a whopping great mistake!!! Thats why I love her, she is so good to me lol! It's not turned out quite like I had in mind but I can live with it.

I hope you will all join in and show us your 'Favourite Things'

We are sponsored this week by

and the prize is a £10.00 voucher to spend in store.

Thanks for taking the time to look and to those that do, for commenting

Super Edwin!

Hello again, two posts in one day is a little rare for me but I really wanted to enter this card into the Just Magnolia challenge and today is the deadline. Please scroll down if you are looking for my MAWTT Design Team card.

Meet Super Edwin!
Isn't he just that - Super, he's from the new Magnolia Summer Kit and inspired by my lovely friend Jill, (who has made several cards with her summer kit already) I thought I should use a new stamp hot off the press!
I can't wait till my favourite shop Sir Stampalot get the whole collection in! I will first on the Pre Order List Janice!
The silver stars are nesties and a punch, though in this picture they aren't shining much. The words are all white rub ons and the 'SUPER' is cut using Fruit Smoothie alphabet from Sizzix

Thank you for looking and to those of you that comment it really makes my day
