TLT's Happy Birthday

Good Morning blogland, I'm wondering as I type this if it's actually going to have stopped raining yet!
This year so far has certainly lived up to its April showers!

On a much brighter note it's time for a fabulous new challenge at

LADYBUGS CRAFT INK

and this week the lovely Michele is fighting fit after a long illness and has given us a nice and easy challenge of

Happy Birthday

so lots of scope for you to join in this time
I've used one of my favourite LCI characters Nikki
and this is Posh Shopper Nikki available HERE
I've done a spot of paper piecing for her chic suit and I made my card out of patterned card for a change. Just a simple little bow and single punched flower and as I thought she looked quite chic I decided to make her French and added a charm (it's actually a charm of Blackpool Tower but that didn't have the same appeal so I'm pretending its the Eiffel Tower lol)
I love black and white and as those of you who visit regularly know, I love mini cards!

I hope you will get time to play along with our fabulous challenge, all the details and some fabulicious inspiration from the Ladybugs can be found on the main challenge blog page.
Remember you don't have to use an LCI image to join in, but we live it when you do!

Thanks for stopping by today
Love 'n' Hugs Laurie xx

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
Love To Create - Anything Goes
Craft Your Days Away - Metal
Wags 'n' Whiskers - Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday - Metallica
Cutie Pie Challenge - Circles
Scrappy Frogs - Shaped Cards (2nd)

I really love this card. The black and white looks so crisp and I really thought it was the Eiffel tower up there. Great paper-piecing, too. Très chique!
