Celebrate @ MAWTT

Hello again I'm back again for the last of my 3 days in a row posts.
And this time its

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

and our lovely new girl on the block KIM is hosting and we have a fabulous theme of

Celebrate Anything But Birthdays

How cool is that! Weddings, New Home, Anniversary etc.
Great idea Kim and I had the perfect card I needed to make
I am getting a bit ahead of myself here as these lovely little twins aren't born yet and Mum & Dad are still arguing about the little boys name! I just assuming that Mum will win that argument or I'll be taking this to pieces to change Jakes name to Mason!
I'm still in my Mo Manning phase and I love love love this cute little image. I've just flipped it around to face itself and kept my card really simple as I wanted that image to be the focal point.

This really takes me back as I had twins 23 years ago next month! Just like these, a boy and a girl and we already had an 18 month old little boy at home - the next 5 years were a blur!!

Head over to the main MAWTT challnenge blog for all the details of this weeks challenge and some fabulous inspiration from my lovely teammies.

We are sponsored this week for the very last time by
http://www.craftyemmasstore.co.uk/

As you probably know Emma is closing her shop which means there are some fabulous bargains to be had and the £10 voucher for the winner will go a lot further!!

A quick update from China: My daughter Raegan is still having a fantastic time and has just had a 24 hour train journey (I'm guessing that wasn't so fantastic!) She said everyone is so friendly and children run to speak to her as they don't see many westerners. 2 school girls came rushing in the hostel to ask her lots of questions like what was her favourite pet and what was her wish? one of them said that her wish was to be a Dr and live in England.
Raegan said she now knows what it feels like to be a Z list celebrity!

Thanks for stopping by today, have a fabulous weekend and anyone going to the coast enjoy, I'm at Hunstanton if you're passing!

Love 'n' Hugs
Laurie xx

Aww this card is mega cute Laurie!! I love the way you've flipped the image to make a twin - genius !! and your soft colouring is perfect. It's a really gorgeous card. I love the names Jake and Ella - they go together perfectly!

Wow! I can't believe you had twins and with a toddler too!! it must have been a blur!! I bet it doesn't seem like 23 years ago either!!
Aww glad Raegan is having a wonderful time. I have read quite a few books about people travelling in China and one of the things they always say is how friendly and generous the people are to Westerners.
Hope you have a nice day hun!
Big Hugs

WOW 3 kids under 5 and only 5 years were a blur lol!!! I had 2 years between the first two (almost exactly to the day) and then a 13.5 year gap!!!
Hope you are not too rushed off your feet and finding some 'you' time.

Hi Laurie, I seem to have missed a couple of your posts and fabulous cards - so sorry!! I'm constantly running to catch myself up at the minute and it's not going to get any better when I have to abandon blog world to get the weeding done on the veg beds!

Anyway, sorry am waffling on here! Gorgeous cards, as always, and love the babies on this one. I think I'd be hanging out for Jake as well, Mason doesn't do it for me.

Don't know how you coped with 3 under 5, I have enough problems with just Emily being under 5!!!! She promises me she'll start being a good girl when she's 5 ;-0
