Keep It Real @ MAWTT

Good Morning or going by my card maybe I should say
'Top of the morning to you!' lol.
(All will become clear when you see it!)
I'm back today with a DT card for a brand new challenge over at

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

and this week my lovely new blog buddy Judith is setting us the challenge of

Keep It Real

so that means no fantasy figures, teddies or even fairies!
It can be plants & flowers as they are living
(not for long in my care though!)
Oh and don't tell the kids - but no Father Christmas either!!

For my card I've used this little Irish Dancer image from Mo Manning, I've had it a while and I've been dying to get around to using her - well done Mo on a fabulous image! I've coloured her with Copics and a touch of prisma pencils for shading. The gorgeous green papers I have had for ever! Hot of the Press, though I have had them so long they have cooled down a bit now! For those that don't know, green is my favourite colour! The star border is a Magnolia Doo Hickey die and the fabby flowers are from this weeks A-M-A-Z-I-N-G sponsor

WOW what a fabulous prize! I love this shop and frequently fill a basket there! If you are not familiar with it trust me its well worth the visit, why not pop over now!

All the details of this challenge can be found on the main blog page HERE and while you are there don't forget to check out the fabulous inspiration from my lovely teammies!

A quick update from China, my daughter is having a fab time and has met lots of new friends already, though most can't speak english!! She has tried a few Chinese delicasies 'snake' being one! She said it was a bit chewy! She declined the chickens feet for now lol. She also though it might be better not to know what she was eating in future!!

That's all from me for today, I'd like to say a big hello and thank you to my new followers and goodbye to the 3 that left this week!
I'm guessing they won't be here to read that though lol

Love 'n' Hugs
Laurie xx

Gorgeous card, great image and the colours seem perfect for it.
Glad your daughter is having a wonderful time, it puts your mind at rest (a little) although I can't say I would enjoy the eating experience.

Wow! I loved this card as soon as I saw it Laurie!! what a gorgeous image and what beautiful colours! Your colouring is perfection hun!! Love the lush papers and the gorgeous flowers, ribbon and star border - everything is just perfect!! :-)
What No Father Christmas?!!! You have traumatised me. I was in shock about the fairies but this has just devastated me….
I had to ask my daughter if a tree was a living breathing thing? I was thrown by the 'breathing' as the trees around here don't inhale and exhale !!!! ROFL
Glad your daughter is having a fab time in China - but yes I think better not to know what you are eating. Went to France with school and they served us up a stew when we arrived. The teacher didn't tell us until later that it was actually Horse Meat!!!! Yuk
Hope you have a good day
Love Sue xx

Hi Laurie, don't worry about being a bad blogger - I'm not much better at the mo. Can't seem to get my bottom in gear and back into my little routines!

Fab card, love the hair and green is one of my favourite colours. Beautiful flowers as well.

Glad to hear your daughter is enjoying herself - despite the food! Being a veggie I wouldn't have tried any of those foods and I think I'm probably lucky not to try!!!
