Get Krafty @ MAWTT

A very good morning to you all and I hope everyone is tickety boo!
Today would have been my Dads birthday if he was still with us so I'm a little melancholy but NOT sad, he had a good life, full of love and friends.
It's time for a new challenge at

and this week my lovely lovely friend Pam is in charge and she would like us all to
Get Krafty
I love this effect but I never use it enough! Story of my life I'm affraid lol
Note to self: Use more Kraft stock!

We are sponsored this week for the very first time by
http://www.digidarladesigns.com/

Who gave us all some images to play with.
Isn't this little guy a cutie?
I coloured him in using my Copics and the lush ribbon is from Kerry at LCI available HERE. The little wooden letters were from Craftsulove and I bought my Spots & Stripes paper pad in Manchester when I went with Lisa & Pam but I can't remember who it is by.

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the relevant info and some super Krafty inspiration from my teammies.

No updates from China as my little cherub hasn't emailed for a few days - and I told her to keep in touch!

Have a lovely weekend, I hope its a dry one!

Love 'n' Hugs Laurie xx

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
The Ribbon Girl - Ribbon or Lace
Craft Your  Passion - Anything Goes (2nd)
The Paper Shelter - Anything Goes

Your card is really scrummy!! I love your 'thin' twin!! ;-)) he looks SO cute… and you've coloured him beautifully. Love the paper and pretty border.. and the lush ribbon and bow… it's a real stunner!!
Hope Raegan gets in touch soon… don't think they realise how parents worry until they have children of their own!

Hi Laurie

This is a fabulous card for a little man.... the image is brill and so well coloured (as always) too! And I love that big bow, and particularly that star border.... (shopping list out)... And yes, I agree about the kraft card... I do try - and when I do, I love the effect!

I'm sure Reagan will be fine - they just get too carried away enjoying themselves and forget about us Mums who wait for every email!!

Big hugs for your melancholi-ness (is that a word??) I still miss both my parents lots, lost Dad is 1980 and Mum in 1989! Can't believe it's that long since I saw them.... but they're with me in my heart.

Really beautiful card, not a kraft fan myself but love to see what others do with it and it does look really good with the blue. The wooden letters look really great and a sweet image, so jealous over the scrummy bow.
It's good to have good memories, feel so sorry for those who don't.
Not really heard much lately from my Daughter in Oz but I try to think no news, is good news!!

the crowning glory of your card is definitely that gorgeous ribbon - closely followed by your fab colouring! love the blue and craft Laurie. I know what you mean about missing your Dad - its special occasions that are the worst I lost my dad 7 years ago - before my card making days so never got to make him a fathers day card - but now every one I make is for him in my mind - even if he never gets it - oh dear I've set myself off now! :( x

Hi Laurie, so sorry to hear of your sad anniversary - it's very true though that we keep those we have loved and lost in our hearts and minds.

Fab card - love the colour combo, image, letters and that bow - wow!!!

Your comment on my Sweet Stampers card made me laugh. I didn't put it on the blog, but I was die-ing (there's a joke there!) to use my newest dies - one being clouds - so popped on a cloud then thought nah it's cr*[ and took it off but I ripped the paper - cue more swearing. So stuck it back on again, and it's there now, but don't really like it!!! I didn't say anything on the blog, as I think I do enough moaning there.

Now I've written a saga here too, hope I've not kept you from something better!

Hope you are having a good weekend.

Sarah
