Use Orange @ Diva's

Good morning to my lovely blogging friends, I hope you were all safe from the storms that hit the UK the last few days, my it was windy here but nothing bad to report, I think we were lucky and missed the worst of it!
A couple of people have asked me about my new blog design, I made it myself with elements from Raspberry Roads 'Seaside Romance' and I'm a bit chuffed how it turned out!!

It's time for a new challenge at

and this week we would like you to

'Use Orange'

Nice and simple and gives us all lots of scope.
I'm not a big Halloween fan so I went for a simple everyday style boy card

This is 'Goldfish Kid' and I coloured him with Copics and matched up to some Halloween paper I had left from last year. Not sure what it is, sorry. Kept him nice and simple, not sure you could call it CAS because the stripes, what do you think?

Head over to the main challenge blog where you can find all the details and lots of inspiration and what prize you can win from this weeks sponsor

That's it from me. Thank you for stopping by and any lovely comments you may leave. I'll be back in a couple of days with a new challenge at Heck of a Challenge, 1st of November already! Where did the year go?

Love 'n' Hugs Laurie xx

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges
Digi Haven - Orange & Black
QKR Stampede - Seeing Orange
CMC Copic Challenge - Guys, Dudes, Masculine
LIM - String or Twine
Stamping Sensations - All Creatures Great & Small

So love your card Mrs, in the words of Louis Walsh, you really nailed it girl! Super image choice and his face looks so real, unlike my girly who was a bit washed out, (must have been her time of the month!)

I too love the blog make over and will have to do something seeing the one I'm with is for changing too. Email me some help would you and I'll get Colin onto it. It looks dead complicated but again you are top of the class. Gold star to you, Jx

Fabulous card, I love orange and I love your new blog too.
I have this image in a pre-coloured version,
I take that CAS means no or very few embellishments and with white space, well you have the white space on the image and just the twine as the sentiment doesn't apply so I would say that this is pretty much CAS.

Hi Laurie - wow great card! Love your colour choices and the image is just fab!

Your blog looks fab as well, must admit I'm too lazy to have a go at fancying mine up, so naked I am and naked I stay!

PS - That's not fair that you know the date of the last big storm and don't tell anyone otherwise someone might work out that I'm no spring chicken anymore!!! Must've been fun tho having a baby in that wild weather. Hope you were safe in a hospital???
