Pretty Pearls @ Diva's

Good Morning Guys, well according to the forecast summer should be here! I say should be as I've scheduled this post encase I'm working hard and didn't get the time LOL

It's time for Team B at

DIVAS BY DESIGN

to share their makes with you for this weeks brand new challenge

Pretty Pearls

I'm lovin' playing with my favourite stamps at the moment, even though I don't have too much time and card production has been severely reduced by work and the summer season, a whole lotta love is going into my one card a week!
I made this for my son Joel to give his Goddaughter for her first birthday next week.

The cutest of cute Magnolia stamps from last years collection I think (it could be the year before!) available from Sir Stampalot and pretty papers from Maya Designs Vintage Spring 6x6 pad, a lush pearl swirl from Hobby House and Lisa will be thrilled I used my Cricut again!!!

We have a fabulous sponsor this week

Please support our sponsors they are so generous in their prizes for you to win.
Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details and some beautiful work by the Diva's, they have excelled this week for you.

That's all from me today, my 3 kids have all gone to Glastonbury Music Festival so work is going to be a bit harder without my main man Joel!! I will be getting my eldest son home after though has he has finished his PhD now and coming home for a couple of months before starting work. I can hardly believe I have a son who is a Dr. When we go to his (3rd) graduation ceremony I'll probably explode  with pride!!

I'll be back on the 1st with a new challenge at HOAC (I can't believe its going to be July
in just a few days - gimme back my year!!)

Fur Cones and Fir Cones @ Diva's

Good morning guys I'm here with a card for a brand new challenge at

DIVA'S BY DESIGN

and today Rebekah has chosen the theme

Distressing

I had so much fun making this card,
it's been a while since I enjoyed card making this much!!

How cute is that image lol it's called Fur Cones from LOTV
I bought it last year when I went to the Harrogate show in October with Lisa, Pam, Debs and Claire and this is the first time I've used it. I got the paper pad from LOTV too.
The snowflakes edger is from Tim Holtz as is the fabulous Fir Cones Bigz die both available from Janice at Sir Stampalot. Louise told me how to make them when I called in one day, you might have to zoom in to even see what I'm talking about!
My cute snowflake charm is tied up with some fab neutral twine.

Our sponsor this week is

And you can check out the rest of the teams makes over on the Diva's challenge blog. The teams are having a bit of a shake up and I used to be Team A and from next week I'll be Team B so hopefully I'll get something made in time - I've not been the quickest crafter lately!!

I'm Still Here!

Just encase you thought I'd forgotten you! LOL I am still here, I know it's been a while since you heard from me. I'm having a bit of a lull and it was with much regret that I resigned from a couple of DT's this week. Oldie But A Goodie which was the first DT I ever made a card for ) they have a new challenge starting today so don't forget to check that out) and Ladybugs Craft Ink which was like cutting an arm off to leave there!! I love you girls and I WILL BE BACK!

I just need a little time out to gather myself and try and put the fun back into crafting, which is what I have been doing this last week (yes it took me a whole week to make this card!)

I've been having a play with lots of stuff I've had for ages and not used like my Butterfly Edger. I kind of feel I might have thrown a little too much at this card but hey ho you live and learn! I think I like it - I reserve judgment for now.
I used the fabulous Magnolia Doo Hickey Feather die again, keep checking as it comes in and goes out of stock all the time!! I also used the Chocolate Box lace die too along the bottom this is a new favourite!! The image is one I bought last year too and never used from Mo Manning - Talk To The Bear - how cute is that lol and the papers if anyone is interested are First Edition. Those pads are such good value. I was saying to my friend Sue today I have sooooooooo much paper it's a crime!
I absolutely must NOT buy anymore.

I did have a massive disaster making this, I'd just finished colouring in my image (over about 3 nights I think!) when I noticed I'd missed a bit of flesh under the bear's bottom, I picked up my E11 Copic and yanked off the top - forgetting I'd just refilled it and 2 of the biggest splodges of ink landed over my newly coloured image!! Thank goodness for the blender pen - it took me 2 more nights to get all the ink off and then fill in again so my shading is a bit dodgy on this on her top and arm, but I managed to keep it out the bin!!

Well I'm sure I've run on enough for one day.
I'm off to my Mums for a couple of days
Thank you for sticking with me

New Challenge @ LCI

Good Morning my lovely friends, I'm so sorry you must think I've abandoned you all! I haven't been near my computer for the last week or so as it was busy busy busy at work again for the Bank Holiday, and can you believe it sunshine again - two consecutive bank holiday's, almost unheard of in this country!!
I"m so behind with all my comments I'm probably going to get the sack from all my DT positions! If I don't I might have to reconsider what I take on this summer as I don't seem to be very efficient at the moment!

I did however find time to make something for the new challenge at

LADYBUGS CRAFT INK

where the theme is a fabulous

Colour Wheel

I only just got this finished in time by the skin of my teeth!
And to make things worse all my scheduled posts that I got so far ahead of myself have been posted now - lol now it will be a challenge!!

Here's my card for this week
This was my third attempt! Not a lot seemed to be going right before this one.
I've used the fantabulous Jack and Robyn Gotcha cling stamp available HERE and don't forget all stamps are on Special offer, Kerry has reduced them so much you would be mad not to buy them and some for presents while you can pick up such a bargain!
The papers are from the LOTV pads last year and I'm having a 'phase' on shaped cards at the minute! Flowers are WOC and I used puffy snow to give some texture.

Here's the colour wheel
You just need to pick two opposite colours to play along.

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details and some beautiful inspiration from the Ladybugs as well as all the information you need regards the prize on offer.

I have another busy day ahead and tonight I'm off to The Theatre Royal Norwich to see 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' and no I'm not dressing up!!!

I promise to try and comment on your blogs this week instead of just looking!!

Let's Play Bingo @ HOAC

Hello lovely friends I hope all is well in your worlds and you all have something wonderful planned for this weekend. I should be working as usual, I just hope the sun shines!

As it's the 1st of the month it's time for a new challenge at

HECK OF A CHALLENGE

and this week the powers that be have chosen to play

Bingo

I love a good game of bingo lol I never seen to win though!

This was another commissioned card and this was made under pressure for me (had to come up with it over night and I usually need a week to think about things!) I was convinced I was going to fail but I actually like how it turned out - I hope Ralph and Joy did!
The papers are from the fabulous Maya Designs and I added the diamond pins as it was a diamond anniversary. Some more yummy rolled roses, I do really love rolled roses and some glamour dust on a chipboard 60.

Here's the bingo board
I went from corner to corner with
Flowers, Die Cuts/Punch & Pearls

I hope you will all get to join us, I'd love to see what you make.

Head over to the main challenge blog for some gorgeous inspiration and all the details and the prize that the lovely Mandy's are giving away this  month from their fabulous online store

or if you're in the area call in to the bricks and mortar shop
The Craft and Hobby Store, Heckmondwike
Every time I've been to visit Lisa I like to spend a couple of hours browsing!!

That's all from me folks - back to work!
Once again this is scheduled as I made this at the end of March.
