Going Dotty @ MAWTT

Good morning guys, another scheduled post from me as I'm back off to Leicester today to visit my Mum. I seem to have been flying around everywhere this last week! I'm only going for the day as Friday is my wedding anniversary and I think my husband has something planned! LOL no doubt I'll be disappointed. 29 years, I can hardly believe it.
My trip to London and the Royal Variety Show was amazing!! I never thought of myself as an opera fan but Andreas Bochelli (if that's how you spell it!) was spine tingling!! Robbie Williams and Rod Stewart were pretty fab too! My seat was above the Royal box and I was hanging over the rail all night to get a glimpse of me 'Auntie Liz'! LOL

Anyway back to the matter in hand
it's time for a new challenge at

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

and the lovely Claire is sending us all

'Dotty'

Not difficult, over at MAWTT we already are!!

Not that you can tell by this dull and dismal picture (it didn't stop raining yesterday to get a decent pic) but the whole reindeer is covered in glamour dust and it sparkles beautifully IRL!
The little deer in question is 'Doodledeer' from this weeks sponsor

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details and some gorgeous dotty inspiration.  We now also have a full DT call on as MAWTT is really MAWTT lol and splitting into 2 teams in the new year. We'd love some new playmates to join us!!

That's all from me today, thank you for stopping by to visit
Love 'n' Hugs Laurie xx

I'll link this up when I get back!

Hi Laurie..

Gorgeous card... and I'm getting a deja vu sense... as I've just commented on Lisa's .... though I love yours in red too!

Weren't you tempted to fling something (like your ice cream wrapper!) over the rail at the theatre to see if it landed on Liz's lap? Think I would have done!! hehe! OK,,, off to the tower with me!!

Lovely card Laurie, pity we can't see the sparkle as I'm sure that sets the image off perfectly. Busy few days ahead again - just for a change. Hope you get on ok at Leicester, Jx

Oh Laurie this is fantastic, love the red and white and the great image and the ribbon and bow are superb.
Will have to watch the RVP when it is on the tele to see if I can spot you when it goes round the audience. I really like light opera, Gilbert & Sullivan especially and the highlight for me when we went to Oz a couple of years ago was going to the Sidney Opera House to see the Mikado, not my fave G & S opera but it was fantastic and so funny.
Good luck with the Anniversary, sounds like your Hubby could be a bit like mine, we had our Ruby Anniversary a couple of years ago and to be honest it was not long after he had, had his stroke and I got this card (the first one in 39 years) great card, great sentiment but it did say Happy Birthday on the last page, that he scrubbed out and wrote Happy Anniversary. He thought it was an Anniversary card but it wasn't till he came to write it that he realised that it was a Birthday card.

Another stunning card Laurie! What is it about winter weddings?! Our wedding anniversary was the 19th but then we were only at 7 years (we were together a good 6 years before we bothered to tie the knot!) Hope you have a nice anniversary hugs rebekah xx

Fab card Laurie - theres nothing better than a really traditional red and white with a bit of sparkle. - oh and I spotted your typo - you pressed the 2 instead of 1 you can't possibly be THAT old and married THAT long - happy anniversary xx

Lovely to 'see' you thanks for stopping by today. I guess the summer has now finished for you and it sounds as though you are just as busy. I am away on a winter break, never done it before, but enjoying some sunshine. Thanks for your lovely visits and comments.
Take care.
