Transport @ Oldie But Goodie

Morning lovely people, hope you're all having fun and enjoying the Easter break, spare a thought for little old me out at work all over the Bank Holiday in the cold!!
A quick scheduled post from me to let you know it's a new challenge at

OLDIE BUT A GOODIE

and this week my lovely little Scottish friend Janice is hosting

Transport

Well I do feel I have cheated a bit as I needed something quick and these are certainly 'Old'
Like many of you out there I possess almost every Kanban kit Dawn Bibby presented on QVC in my early craft days and thought it was about time I used some - for a change!!
Gosh you can tell how guilty I felt using these - I made 3 to ease my conscience!!
A little bit of pre cut decoupage and a lot of glue gel - they are kinda cute!!

Head over to the main challenge blog for a lot more detailed inspiration from my lovely teammies, we have some fab new DT members so please pop by and say 'hello'
All the details of the challenge can be found there - including the prize on offer

Remember to qualify for the prize you must use something on your card/creation that is at least 6 months old and be sure to let us know what it is in your post.

Right I'm off - I should be working!!

Love 'n' Hugs Laurie xx

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges
Here Come The Boys - Photo Inspiration
Allsorts - Vintage ? (I think so!)

I don't think you should apologise for these my dear, they are fantastic! As soon as I saw them, I knew, Laurie has done it again, pulled the rabbit out of the hat & I bet these beauties will amount to more challenge wins for you over the next couple of weeks. Jx

Hi Laurie, Oh these are FAB! No need to feel guilty ... not every card has to be a hand coloured masterpiece. Saying that I always felt guilty if I used a pre-coloured topper so know how you feel!

I thought of you this weekend ... gosh I bet it was cold!! I went to Wells at the weekend to get my daughter because she had been staying with a friend for a few days ... I only got out of the car for a few minutes and I was freezing. Hope it warms up soon ... this winter has been never ending! Saying that it is nice and sunny here today but very cold!

Take care and keep warm

Aww these are all gorgeous Laurie!! they look really fab and I love the number plates! they are great for those tricky male cards too !! :-)
I love doing kits and decoupage but like you say… I always feel like I've taken the easy option… and yet some of them take longer than normal card!!!… so I don't think we should feel guilty really!!! LOL
I will definitely be doing more kits and using toppers etc... as I find them relaxing to do...
Take Care hun
Sending Huge Hugs!!!
