Head over to the LCI blog for lots of gorgeous inspiration from the Ladybugs and for all the details of this weeks challenge. Remember you don't have to use an LCI image to play along but we love it when you do!

Just For Fun

Hello everyone, happy Sunday to you all. This is a rare post for me as I found a little extra time to play this week with some images that I've wanted to for ages, that's right not a DT in sight this is just for fun!

I love Kenny K's and I've had this for so long if I didn't get it coloured and posted soon it would have to wait till next Christmas! Meet the lovely 'Mistletoe'
I had this fabulous paper pad from Echo Park, Christmas Spots and Stripes, every sheet is gorgeous and I've been desperate to use it and I thought this image was perfect for the traditional red and green colour combo. I've used some fluffy stuff for the fur trim again, love this technique its ideal for Christmas.

I hope you all have a nice relaxing Sunday, I've got friends coming for lunch so I best go peel some potatoes!!
Thanks for looking and to those that do, for the lovely comments

Moving Along With some Pretty Little Ribbons

Good Morning blog lovers, hope it's not too frosty in your part of the world, it hasn't been here cos the salt air stops us having much frost but my Mum tells me she has had a proper white welcome these last couple of mornings!

Thursday seems to come around faster than ever just lately, I reckon it must be my age! LOL
I've been quite poorly for the last few days and I want to thank everyone for all the get well wishes you have all been leaving me, I can't believe how kind everyone has been. Sniff sniff. Feeling loads better now so business as usual and time for a new challenge at

and this week my lovely friend Debs is hosting and she wants to see some
Ribbons & Bows
 Here is my contribution
I've kept my card pretty simple this week as I didn't want to cover up too much of these gorgeous Bo Bunny papers, I was tempted to just stick a piece of the lush paper on the front of a card blank, it's so so gorgeous! The cute image as you will recognise is LOTV, my collection of these is growing but I never find enough time to play with them, this is one of my favourite of this years Christmas release. The flower I have had forever from Prima, I have a problem with using the stuff I buy, I think I prefer to look at it and stroke it LOL
The pearls and ribbons are from my stash. Thanks to my lovely friend Jill for the fab tip - I don't buy pearls in every colour anymore - I colour them with my copics now.

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details and check out the fabulous inspiration from the DT The girls have done a brilliant job for you this week! It's a super little challenge and growing stronger and stronger each week with some fabulous prizes up for grabs.

This week we have a new sponsor

They are donating this super collection to the winner

I hope you all find time to join in and thank you all for visiting this morning
Love 'n' Hugs

Moving Along With A Fairytale

Once upon a time in a land far away (encase you hadn't guessed I'm on holiday) there was a little blog called
it was a lovely little blog, it gave away fabulous prizes to really nice, clever people, and this blog had a Fairy Godmother called Hazel. Hazel liked
Fairytales
she wanted all the people in the surrounding lands to like fairytales, she wanted all the people to use fairytales as an inspiration to everything they made.

On this blog was a beautiful young (OK OK I'm using artistic licence here) girl called CinderLaurie, CinderLaurie made a card for the nice blog
Upon this card was all the things CinderLaurie dreamed of, oh where oh where could her Prince Charming Edwin be? Was he back in the land of Magnolia? She'd danced with him under the stars in the garden with the rolled roses and butterflies on the night of the Prima papers ball, when she'd lost her shoe running away as the clock struck 9pm and she didn't want to miss Downton Abbey.

CinderLaurie had sisters (oh God they are so gonna kill me for this!) who had made cards too, and all the people from the surrounding lands flocked to the little blog to look at their cards. Their cards were beautiful and they were beautiful too, no one is ugly in this fairytale ha!

There was a beautiful cloud, it was a
and this beautiful Crimson Cloud had a wonderful gift to give away to someone on the little blog, someone special.
And they all lived happily ever after.
The End.

Hope you liked my fairytale LOL
I'll be back from my hols next week and get around to catching up on all your blogs
Love 'n' Big Hugs Laurie xx

And as if by magic Cinderlauries Fairy godmother would like to enter the card into the following challenges ...
