Show Us Your Ribbons @ Oldie But A Goodie

Hello again lovely Peeps, I've been having a little break to try and sort myself out after our Summer Season but the weather has been so nice I've still been working! At least I've had time for a blog over - just not sure yet if I like it!!!

Anyway I'm back today with a brand new challenge at

OLDIE BUT A GOODIE

and this week the lovely Claire is in command and she would like you to

Show Us Your Ribbons

Ribbon is something I have in abundance!!
That doesn't stop me buying more though LOL
This is one of the cards I've been making for my Mum and a friend who have both been asking me to make for them for ages, I just couldn't find any time until now.
The image you don't really need me to tell you is 'Blanche' from the fabulous Krista Smith at Saturated Canary (My lovely friend Debs gave me a voucher for my birthday and I'm addicted) coloured with Copics and pencils, the paper is Echo Park 'For The Record 2' 6x6 pad, the sentiment is computer generated and cut out with a Die Namics label die and the chipboard alphabet has been painted to match. All the flowers are from WOC and in keeping with the challenge rules, my ribbon has been in my drawer for years! Its Tilda ribbon from Panduro.

Remember to qualify for the challenge you must use something on your card that is at least 6 months old and be sure to tell us what it is.

You can find all the details on the main challenge blog along with some beautiful inspiration from my talented teammies.

Our sponsor this week is

Things With Wings @ Oldie But Goodie

A very good morning to you all, well I don't know about where you are but it was dry here all weekend. It rained again yesterday though so back to normal now!
My little girl flew off on her travels again last week and after a few days exploring Hong Kong she has now moved on to China where she'll spend the next 6 weeks! I'm crossing off the days till she gets home safe! She assured me lots of people go travelling on their own!

I'm back today with a brand new challenge over at

OLDIE BUT A GOODIE

and this time my gorgeous friend Debs is in charge and would like to see

Things With Wings

This was great for me as this little stamp has been sat waiting her turn for so long on my desk I could hear her foot tapping!

Isn't she fab? Its Pippi Longsocks from Sugar Nellie and I love her! My papers are Basic Grey Kissing Booth and once again I used my MFT flower die. I actually followed the sketch over at The Sugar Bowl and really enjoyed making this, its ages since I followed a good sketch! Coloured with Copics and the plain cardstock is Stampin' Up which I got from Zoe (link in my sidebar)

We are sponsored this week by

and all the details can be found on the main challenge blog along with some fabulous inspiration from my lovely team mates.

Remember you can now use a digital image to join in but something on your card has to be at least 6 months old and you have to tell us what it is in your post

Thats all from me today, thank you for stopping by

Hello again my lovely friends, I'm finally catching up with my DT commitments but still a little behind visiting you all! It's my Mum's birthday tomorrow so I'm off to Leicester later today for a couple of days, so I still won't get straight to you!

I'm here today as its a brand new challenge at

Nautical

I really enjoyed this one and got another chance to play with my favourite Magnolia's
Coloured with Copics and Prisma Pencils for a bit of shading, the papers are from Maja Designs, Life By The Sea 6x6 pad which was a present from the very lovely Jill last year.
Are you impressed with my knot tying skills?......don't be.......I didn't do it, my husband did it for me, after a lot of moaning and grunting!! (Makes a change from all the helpful and supportive husbands you all have!)

All my gorgeous Magnolia's (and Copics) come from my favourite shop who just happen to be  this weeks sponsor

Janice and Andy provide the best service in blogland and now my car can find its way there I often find myself calling in! lol

Throw Us Some Shapes @ LCI

A very good wet and soggy morning to you all! Well how was your bank holiday? Mine was a WASHOUT! I even got Monday off and stayed home to do some ironing, never been heard of before!

The weeks keep on flying by and today it's time for a new challenge at

LADYBUGS CRAFT INK

and this week the very lovely, uber talented Sally is hosting her first challenge since gaining her Ladybug wings, and she would like to see some

SHAPES
Particularly, a square, a circle and a triangle!

With all this information in hand....this is what I made!
I have to confess this wasn't the first card I made - somehow all the information didn't stay in my brain and when I went to post the original card - it didn't fit the challenge! Hopefully this is just a passing phase and my brain will be back to full working order soon!
The image is, of course the lovely Birthday Nikki, back in stock and available HERE and the papers are First Edition which I think I got from The Range very cheap!
See Lisa I do love a bargain! lol

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the relevant information and some inspirational inspiration (see what I did there?) from the Ladybugs.
Don't forget to check out if you were amongst the lucky winners of Diane's Spots & Stripe challenge too.

Now one more bit of major news from the powers that be, none other than the Queen Ladybug herself.
It seems Kerry has gone mad - yet again I hear you shout!
Once more its a HALF PRICE sale on all cling stamps at LCI and that's not all, Kerry is throwing in a free gift with every order AND its free shipping world wide on all orders over £25!
I've already placed my order - what are you waiting for!!!

Thanks for visiting me today and a huge 'Hello' to my new followers.
I'll be back tomorrow with a new challenge at Diva's
Love 'n' Hugs Laurie xx

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Lilac Bunnies for Oldie But A Goodie

A very good morning to all my lovely friends out there in blog land, we've just had a very soggy weekend and I hope it's dried up a bit for you, wherever you may be.

It's time for a new challenge at
but before I go into the details, I'd like to thank everyone who joined us for the last challenge, the winner and top 3 can be found on the main challenge blog page.
This week our blog leader, the very talented Francesca is hosting,
and she would like to see some

Easter Wishes
Here is what I came up with
I've used a LOTV image that was stamped and sent to me last year in a RAK from my good friend Lisa, lol I can't believe how long it's taken me to use it! Once again I've used MFT die cut flowers, I love these as much as my mini round cards lately!  The border and swirl are Doo Hickey dies. I dusted off the brads and ribbon from my stash. Image is coloured with Copics and Nesties used for the shapes.
A little peek inside again
Another obsession is decorating the inside, I'm hoping it will help use up the mountain of paper which I can't stop buying!
Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details of this challenge, the prize you can win and some inspiration from my lovely teammies.

Remember the new rules state you can use a digital image but don't forget to tell us what is old that you have used on your card.

I'm away at my Mums for a couple of days, so I apologise if I haven't been around much, what with work and getting ready for the start of our summer season there isn't enough hours in the day!

Thank for visiting
Love 'n' Hugs Laurie xx

Really Reasonable Ribbon - Spring With Ribbon

4 BLOGAVERSARY CANDIES

EDITED
CANDY IS NOW OVER
WINNERS POST HERE

Well I may be a little late but I am here with my candy post at last! I'm back from my Nephews wedding and it was fabulous - 2 days of non stop partying, I now need a couple of weeks off to recover!

While I was away it was my 1st blogaversay, the year has gone so quickly and been so much fun, I've made some friends for life and learnt so much from my fellow crafters I want to offer a little blog candy to my followers as a thank you. Rather than one big candy I've decided to split it up into small chunks! I was doing 6 but ran out of time putting them together so here are 4! I just may get around to putting the other 2 together before I pick the winners, but if I didn't hurry up and get this posted it would be closer to my 2nd blogaversary!
There is a 'Favourite Paper' Candy with a My Minds Eye and a Bo Bunny 6x6 pad and some organza ribbons.

A "Pink & Girly' Candy with lots of different Wild Orchid Craft flowers, a Distress Ink Pad in Spun Sugar, A Pink Copic, several lengths of ribbon and a sheet of Flat Back Pearls.

An 'Alphabet' Candy with 8 different alphabets, 3 Rub On from Doodlebug in different sizes, 4 sticker sheets, 3 from Doodlebug and 1 from Papermania and a Chip Chatter chipboard set. Each one is a different colour.

And last but not least a 'Valentine' Candy made up from red roses in several different sizes again from WOC, 2 lengths of red ribbon, a pack of heart doilies, a pack of flat back red pearls in assorted sizes, 4 chipboard hearts in 2 sizes, red satin and flock padded hearts and red glitter die cut hearts.

THIS CANDY IS FOR MY FOLLOWERS ONLY

Now I'm going to need to go shopping to fill this baby up with Copics!
