Red, White & Blue @ Diva's

Morning Peeps, if you're surprised to see me here join the club cos I am too! Instead of using this Mad Hatter image I should have used a white rabbit because I've spent the whole year so far (only nearly half way through it) running around shouting 'I'm Late I'm late"!
I've been back in hospital and gone back to work (ouch!) and generally achieve nothing most days despite flying around like a lunatic. A bit of card making therapy would be ideal if I could fit it in.
It has taken me the best part of 2 weeks to make this and only just made the sentiment yesterday to get it up in time for the new challenge at

DIVA'S BY DESIGN

and the theme of

Red, White & Blue

Here's my card

Using the fabulous Mo Manning's Mad Hatter which I've been meaning to colour for AGES!! Like I said I made the sentiment on my computer (which only just decided to work again today)You could use this card for any occasion but I thought I'd use it as a belated birthday card, I have missed so many of my friends birthdays this year I should have made this card in bulk! I coloured the red and blue in pencils as I really struggle with both of these colours in copics, I can get lighter versions but not the depth I wanted.
The papers are Bo Bunny, I've had them for ages. I was going to add some bunting but I thought as bunting was printed on the paper it would be overkill to add more.

We have a super sponsor this week

Check out the main challenge blog for all the details and some gorgeous inspiration from my talented teammies this week.

That's it from me, I have 10 ladies for supper tonight so it could get messy!

Photo Inspiration @ MAWTT

A jolly good morning to all you lovely people, while I'm writing this (scheduled) it's a glorious sunny day I do hope it's lasted! I hope you are all well and happy. I'm on a mission to get ahead with all my DT work and so far so good.
I'm here today to tell you about a new challenge at

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

and this week my lovely friend Pam is hosting, she gave us this pretty picture to work from so its a

Photo Inspiration

You can interpret it how you wish, colours, spring, sweets etc

After my mishap of posting my DT card a week early a few weeks ago I'm taking no chances and putting the inspiration picture first!! I don't have to worry about Janice peeking, this was sent to her for her birthday so I know she has it now. Here's my take on the challenge

Ummmm, my green looks a bit darker on this picture, I don't remember it being that dark. I used some giant nesties to cut out the card shape and the cutest little Mo Manning image. Inside the greeting says ' Wish Big' lol just like her knickers!! I'm in love with my PTI 'birthday' die, I just wish they weren't so expensive to mail stuff here. My usual flowers only this time I experimented with air brushing them different colours. I've only had my Copic airbrush kit about 5 years and not used it till I did these white flowers pink and green. It's sooooooooooo cool, I want to airbrush everything!!!

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details of the challenge and some gorgeous inspiration from my lovely talented teammies.
I'll be back tomorrow. I'm going to the NEC on Saturday if anyone wants to meet up, I'm already meeting some lovely friends again who I haven't seen for ages.
Thank you for stopping by

and make more than one card a week for a while lol, I hope I can keep up!!
I'm starting off with a super theme

Hey Cutie!

Here's my first official offering as a shiny new Totally PaperCrafts DT member!

I've had this little Mo Manning cutie coloured in and sat on my desk for so long she's virtually a teenager now! The fab Echo Park papers are fairly new even though I'm not supposed to be buying any more papers LOL and the thing I'm most pleased with, is the sentiment. I couldn't find the right one anywhere so I made my own on the PC and I'm chuffed to bits how it turned out. If I can work out how to do it, I'll happily email it to anyone who wants it. The flowers are my favorite things dies with brads in the centre.

We have a fabulous sponsor this week
Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details of the challenge, the fantastic prize on offer and lots of super cute inspiration from my new teammies.

I'm Back!!

Hello blogland, I'm back and boy have I missed you all! My summer season is over and I have no work (apart from running a home) for the next 5 months or so and I should be posting regularly again now on. I still have a fair bit of turmoil going on in my life and I'm expecting the builders to restart renovations soon, but not enough to keep me away from you all I hope. I might nip off for a bit of sunshine as our glorious summer ended with a bang before I was ready LOL

I'm back just in time for a brand new challenge at

DIVA'S BY DESIGN

and it's everyones favourite...

Anything Goes

I hope I can keep up with my commenting! Its been that long since I tried.
I have several cards that I started for DT work and didn't finish in time so I'm half way through my next few makes. Here is the first.

I just love this fab image from Mo Manning (I love all of Mo's super images) and I've had it half coloured on my desk for months, itching to use it. The papers are digital downloads from Scrap Orchard called Bella Gypsy, I'm addicted to my Magnolia Doo Hickey die So Wrapped tag and the WOC flowers are available from our fabulous sponsor this week

If you haven't been over there yet you are in for a treat! I love this shop!!
Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details and some fabulous inspiration from my teammies - I hope they remember who I am!!

I'm Still Here!

Just encase you thought I'd forgotten you! LOL I am still here, I know it's been a while since you heard from me. I'm having a bit of a lull and it was with much regret that I resigned from a couple of DT's this week. Oldie But A Goodie which was the first DT I ever made a card for ) they have a new challenge starting today so don't forget to check that out) and Ladybugs Craft Ink which was like cutting an arm off to leave there!! I love you girls and I WILL BE BACK!

I just need a little time out to gather myself and try and put the fun back into crafting, which is what I have been doing this last week (yes it took me a whole week to make this card!)

I've been having a play with lots of stuff I've had for ages and not used like my Butterfly Edger. I kind of feel I might have thrown a little too much at this card but hey ho you live and learn! I think I like it - I reserve judgment for now.
I used the fabulous Magnolia Doo Hickey Feather die again, keep checking as it comes in and goes out of stock all the time!! I also used the Chocolate Box lace die too along the bottom this is a new favourite!! The image is one I bought last year too and never used from Mo Manning - Talk To The Bear - how cute is that lol and the papers if anyone is interested are First Edition. Those pads are such good value. I was saying to my friend Sue today I have sooooooooo much paper it's a crime!
I absolutely must NOT buy anymore.

I did have a massive disaster making this, I'd just finished colouring in my image (over about 3 nights I think!) when I noticed I'd missed a bit of flesh under the bear's bottom, I picked up my E11 Copic and yanked off the top - forgetting I'd just refilled it and 2 of the biggest splodges of ink landed over my newly coloured image!! Thank goodness for the blender pen - it took me 2 more nights to get all the ink off and then fill in again so my shading is a bit dodgy on this on her top and arm, but I managed to keep it out the bin!!

Well I'm sure I've run on enough for one day.
I'm off to my Mums for a couple of days
Thank you for sticking with me

Just Add Water @ Heck Of A Challenge

Good Morning and Happy April Fools to you all, make sure your wits are sharp and don't get tricked!! I'm busy working, well working but not sure I'll be busy!!
I'd much rather be in front of the fire crafting today but I have to do something to earn my crafty spending money and I do enjoy spending money!!

As I mentioned it's the first of the month (Geeez it's going quick) and it's time for a brand new challenge at

HECK OF A CHALLENGE

This month before she left us Lisa M choose

Just Add Water

Just before I show you my card you might like to know that we are looking expand our DT and have a DT call on which you can find all the details to on the challenge blog. It would be great to have some new play mates!!

I've used the uber cute 'Waiting For Rain' from Mo Manning, these images really colour up so lovely, and this isn't the first time I've used her lol I love it when that happens - it just doesn't happen very often!!
The fabulous papers are a new purchase, couldn't resist them I'm afraid, they are from 'Stampin' Up' there is a link to the lovely Zoe in my side bar, she is soooooooo helpful and lovely!
The little duck was a button, I cut the back off with my wire cutters. The photo isn't very good I forgot to put the macro on, so as I was so close it's a bit out of focus. I've used my trusty bow maker to shape the lush bow - I'd be lost without that little tool! I did have a sentiment on a cloud but I took it off as it just wasn't right!!

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details of the challenge and some gorgeous watery delights from the DT and we have a couple of stunning GD's joining us today, so please show them some love.
While you're there you can check out the fabulous prize on offer from the 2 Mandy's at

It's A Recipe at Oldie But Goodie

Morning Guys, wow how nice is this weather? We are still having lots of visitors to the seaside so I haven't had as much time yet as I thought I was going to have!! At least I'm getting a bit of time to make something.
Today is a new challenge over at

OLDIE BUT A GOODIE

and my lovely lovely teamie Debs is in charge
I'm finally going to get to meet up with her in few weeks and I'm really excited as I know we will be good friends for a long time.
Anyway back to the challenge and it's a

Recipe
1 Image, 2 DP's and 3 Flowers

Here's my take on the challenge
I've had this image coloured in for quite a while as I was going to use it for another card months ago but it wasn't going right at the time! My twins are going to Sophie's 21st party on Saturday it's called 'Sophie's Adventures In Wonderland' and everyone has to dress up as a character from the book/film.
We were invited too, Sophie works for us, but someone has to stay here to work!
The fabulous Queen of Hearts is a Mo Manning image, coloured with Copics and pencils. The papers are MME and you will probably know by now (as I've used them so much) the flowers are a MFT die. The gem brads, ribbon and heart pins are all from my stash.
Inside just says 'Let's Celebrate!'

We have a fabulous sponsor this week, the mighty

All the details plus some gorgeous inspiration from my team mates can be found at the main challenge blog page. I hope you will all get a chance to join us this challenge.

While I'm here I'd like to thank all my beautiful friends out there who sent me birthday cards/presents and good wishes, I was overwhelmed by your kindness, generosity and talents. I don't want to list individual names encase I miss someone out, but thank you all - I had one of the nicest birthday's I can remember.

A quick reminder to enter my birthday candy above

Shape Up @ MAWTT

Good Morning folks its time for a brand new challenge at
and this week the lovely LEESA is in charge and she would like us all to
Shape Up!
Well I certainly need to but fortunately for now its just my card that has to!!
This is a commissioned card I made a while ago. After seeing the twins card I made for Jake (yes his Mum won the name game) and Ella, I was asked to make another twin card, this time for two boys and as I love that image I used last time so much I went with it again.
This time I cut my card shape using X Cut dies and embellished the whole thing (last time you may remember I left it CAS). I have to say I'm happy with both even though they are so different! The papers are DCWV and the 'precious' is from WRMK its a kind of chipboard sticker  but its a bit thicker. All my flowers are from WOC and my nylon butterfly is from a £1 shop. I added a little button shaped like a dummy in with the flowers, you can just see it poking out the bottom corner.

We have my favourite shop in the whole of blogland sponsoring us today

and the lovely Janice has donated this prize to the winner
Some lovely Christmas goodies.

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details and some fabulous shapes from the gorgeous DT girls. This challenge will run for a fortnight to give everyone plenty of time during the school holidays.

This is the last of the cards that I had pre made before I got busy at work so I'm not sure what will happen now! It's really hot here and that means busy busy for us but I hope I can find a little time from somewhere during the last 3 weeks of our season!!

Thank you to everyone for sticking by me while I have been unable to visit you all, I can't wait to catch up with all my blog friends soon.

I'm Still Here!

Hello folks, bet you thought I'd forgot about you all! Lol
This working lark really interferes with your crafting life and I'm trying really hard to get ahead with my DT stuff so I don't have to miss any challenges while I'm busy at work.

I do however have a card I can post that I had to make for a new arrival recently.
This is the 3rd time I've used this digi stamp (the 2nd will be posted soon) So I'm guessing this is probably my most used stamp EVER!!
Isn't this the most cutest image from Mo Manning?
Coloured with Copics and shapes cut with Nesties its also the most simplist card ever made.

Right have to dash!
Sorry for my infrequent visits to you all, normal services will resume in September!

Summer's Here @ Diva's

Well I hope it's a little bit more like summer out there now than when I'm typing this! I'm a wee bit ahead of myself as I have to be organised or I can't play during the summer months, and today I wanted to play along as it's a brand new challenge at
and the fantabulous Rebekah has given us a theme of

Summer

and goodness me you need your sunglasses for this one!
I've used another Mo image, I'm totally lovin' these images at the minute! and I'm also lovin' Echo Park paper pads which I have used here. All my flowers come from WOC and I have mixed up all the bright colours al a Rebekah! I love it when the Boss does this so I copied her idea! My sun is cut on my Cricut - oh yes I used it again!

 We are sponsored today by

Celebrate @ MAWTT

Hello again I'm back again for the last of my 3 days in a row posts.
And this time its

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

and our lovely new girl on the block KIM is hosting and we have a fabulous theme of

Celebrate Anything But Birthdays

How cool is that! Weddings, New Home, Anniversary etc.
Great idea Kim and I had the perfect card I needed to make
I am getting a bit ahead of myself here as these lovely little twins aren't born yet and Mum & Dad are still arguing about the little boys name! I just assuming that Mum will win that argument or I'll be taking this to pieces to change Jakes name to Mason!
I'm still in my Mo Manning phase and I love love love this cute little image. I've just flipped it around to face itself and kept my card really simple as I wanted that image to be the focal point.

This really takes me back as I had twins 23 years ago next month! Just like these, a boy and a girl and we already had an 18 month old little boy at home - the next 5 years were a blur!!

Head over to the main MAWTT challnenge blog for all the details of this weeks challenge and some fabulous inspiration from my lovely teammies.

We are sponsored this week for the very last time by
http://www.craftyemmasstore.co.uk/

As you probably know Emma is closing her shop which means there are some fabulous bargains to be had and the £10 voucher for the winner will go a lot further!!

A quick update from China: My daughter Raegan is still having a fantastic time and has just had a 24 hour train journey (I'm guessing that wasn't so fantastic!) She said everyone is so friendly and children run to speak to her as they don't see many westerners. 2 school girls came rushing in the hostel to ask her lots of questions like what was her favourite pet and what was her wish? one of them said that her wish was to be a Dr and live in England.
Raegan said she now knows what it feels like to be a Z list celebrity!

Thanks for stopping by today, have a fabulous weekend and anyone going to the coast enjoy, I'm at Hunstanton if you're passing!

Keep It Real @ MAWTT

Good Morning or going by my card maybe I should say
'Top of the morning to you!' lol.
(All will become clear when you see it!)
I'm back today with a DT card for a brand new challenge over at

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

and this week my lovely new blog buddy Judith is setting us the challenge of

Keep It Real

so that means no fantasy figures, teddies or even fairies!
It can be plants & flowers as they are living
(not for long in my care though!)
Oh and don't tell the kids - but no Father Christmas either!!

For my card I've used this little Irish Dancer image from Mo Manning, I've had it a while and I've been dying to get around to using her - well done Mo on a fabulous image! I've coloured her with Copics and a touch of prisma pencils for shading. The gorgeous green papers I have had for ever! Hot of the Press, though I have had them so long they have cooled down a bit now! For those that don't know, green is my favourite colour! The star border is a Magnolia Doo Hickey die and the fabby flowers are from this weeks A-M-A-Z-I-N-G sponsor

WOW what a fabulous prize! I love this shop and frequently fill a basket there! If you are not familiar with it trust me its well worth the visit, why not pop over now!

All the details of this challenge can be found on the main blog page HERE and while you are there don't forget to check out the fabulous inspiration from my lovely teammies!

A quick update from China, my daughter is having a fab time and has met lots of new friends already, though most can't speak english!! She has tried a few Chinese delicasies 'snake' being one! She said it was a bit chewy! She declined the chickens feet for now lol. She also though it might be better not to know what she was eating in future!!

That's all from me for today, I'd like to say a big hello and thank you to my new followers and goodbye to the 3 that left this week!
I'm guessing they won't be here to read that though lol

For my card I have finally used one of many Mo Manning images I had to invest in! I'm doing quite well really - that's 3 images in the last 2 weeks that I haven't used before! The daffodils I bought last year from WOC and as I used 2, I bought another pack to replace them!! I know - don't ask!!
The papers are Echo Park, the punches MS and the die cut cloud is a Magnolia Doo Hickey (sorry Kerry!)

Buttons & Bows @ Oldie But A Goodie

Good Morning blog lovers, time for a brand new challenge at
where you can all use your favourite stamps as long as they are at least 6 months old! I love this challenge, I have so many stamps that I've never got around to using or only used once - I think I could stay on this DT forever!!!

This week our lovely Lisa is hosting for me ( I swapped with her) and we want to see some
Buttons and Bows
Nice and easy, we all love to use buttons and I rarely make a card without a ribbon these days!
How much do you love this little man? I just want to pick him up LOL. You can tell it's a long time since mine where this age - I'm desperate for Grandchildren! This little guy is Toby and he is from Mo Manning (rubber not digi - no breaking the rules). My fabulous papers are Making Memories and are amongst the first I bought years ago - since then a small Forest has been sacrificed to fill my craft room!
We have a fabulous sponsor this week
