Another One of Those Just For Fun Cards!

Morning Peeps I won't say good as the weather is far from it here! I can't believe how it changes from day to day, no two days are the same lately!

I'm back with a card I made for the fun of it again - whoa steady on that's two I've made now this year!! I really liked the 'Mood Board' inspiration photo for the latest challenge at Saturated Canary and wanted to make something with those fab colours so here it is!

You'll have to excuse the dark photo, it's such a miserable grey day here.
I've used the super sweet 'Turtle Love' from Krista and coloured with copics. The papers are Kaiser Craft 'Utopia' and were a perfect match for their challenge. Lots of WOC flowers and my new Doo Hickey feather dies from Sir Stampalot
I took another pic with the tag out

Equally as grey and miserable lol
Half way through making it I decided it would be perfect for my friends Granddaughter so I added her name is Stickers, luckily I had a perfect colour match!!

That's it from me today, I hope you all have a fabulous weekend

Well hello again lovely people, first things first, I have to apologise for not being around for the last few days - we were so so busy at work, I think everyone headed to the coast this last weekend and I haven't had 5 minutes to craft, blog or comment! And as we are heading into another bank holiday weekend I still might struggle to get to you - please don't think I've forgotten you - as Arnie said "I'll be back"!

Perfect for me as I had made this card for my BIL a few weeks ago and not got around to bloggin it!

The cute little teddie is LOTV and I've had him an age! The papers are Kaiser Craft and the black spotty one is like velvet, coloured with Copics and the star border and the star tag are Doo Hickey dies from Magnolia,

and inside (with the removable tag on the front out)

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details of this weeks challenge and to see what super prize is up for grabs, while you're there check out the fab creations from the DT for your inspiration.

MAWTT - Not quite!

Good Morning Blog Land, it's time for a brand new challenge at

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

and this week our lovely Mau is hosting her first challenge since joining the team
and she would like us to get out

In The Garden

I'm presuming that's if it stops raining!

Well I hate to say it but I failed! My life caught me up and I didn't get a chance to make a card for this challenge - but the rest of the fabulous team did so get on over there and check them out!

I have got a card to post though, one that I made a while ago but it doesn't fit with the theme so I didn't want to add it to the challenge blog.
This is the lovely Wryn from Tiddly Inks - isn't she cute! This time I coloured her hair black with just my Copics, last time I used prisma pencils to get the depth. The paper is all furry and gorgeous from Kaiser Craft and the ribbon is part of my winnings from RRR a few weeks ago, great service from the USA and fab choices! Played it safe with a rub on sentiment - too many times I've stamped it after I've coloured it and messed it up!

I hope you will all get a chance to play along at MAWTT this week they are being sponsored by the fabulous
All the details can be found on the main challenge blog.

Thank you to those who stop by and read my drivel!
Love 'n' Hugs Laurie

Lilac Bunnies for Oldie But A Goodie

A very good morning to all my lovely friends out there in blog land, we've just had a very soggy weekend and I hope it's dried up a bit for you, wherever you may be.

It's time for a new challenge at
but before I go into the details, I'd like to thank everyone who joined us for the last challenge, the winner and top 3 can be found on the main challenge blog page.
This week our blog leader, the very talented Francesca is hosting,
and she would like to see some

Easter Wishes
Here is what I came up with
I've used a LOTV image that was stamped and sent to me last year in a RAK from my good friend Lisa, lol I can't believe how long it's taken me to use it! Once again I've used MFT die cut flowers, I love these as much as my mini round cards lately!  The border and swirl are Doo Hickey dies. I dusted off the brads and ribbon from my stash. Image is coloured with Copics and Nesties used for the shapes.
A little peek inside again
Another obsession is decorating the inside, I'm hoping it will help use up the mountain of paper which I can't stop buying!
Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details of this challenge, the prize you can win and some inspiration from my lovely teammies.

Remember the new rules state you can use a digital image but don't forget to tell us what is old that you have used on your card.

I'm away at my Mums for a couple of days, so I apologise if I haven't been around much, what with work and getting ready for the start of our summer season there isn't enough hours in the day!

Thank for visiting
Love 'n' Hugs Laurie xx

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAMI
I'm a little excited as tomorrow I get to meet Pami for the first time, both her and Lisa, my two fantastic teammies, are coming over to Sunny Hunny and we are all off on a blog girls day together on Saturday. Lisa and I have met before and hit it off really well. If anyone is around this area on Sunday maybe you'd like to join us for lunch?

Now on to the rest of my post, its Thursday and that means new challenge at

Don't forget to check out the main MAWTT challenge blog for all the details of this challenge, to see if you were the lucky winner of our fabulous Hazel's sketch challenge last week and to see what my lovely team makes have made sparkle just for you.

Not that you can tell from this photo, but trust me this is a very sparkly card!! I printed out the super Stitchy image after I'd re-coloured it in Photoshop, then used a glue pen to go all around the outline and glamour dusted the lot!! Fab WOC flowers and the lush paper is Kaiser Craft.

We are sponsored this week by the faberooni
StitchyBear Stamps
and this super prize is on offer to the lucky winner

I hope that you all get a chance to join us this week, I look forward to being dazzled by your creations in every way!

Gillian, Corry and Claudia Rosa

Hello my lovely bloggers thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog today and have a look around I hope the sun is shining and all is well with you.
Today I want to share with you a card I have made purely for Corry and her whopping candy blog post. Corry is celebrating 2 years in blogland and has a massive candy to give away. She is about to go back to work after maternity leave and as Corry is a nurse I thought Gillian from Prairie Fairy was the perfect image to use for her card.
Claudia Rosa from Pretty Pressings came up with a fabulous sketch just for Corry and this is my interpretation.
The papers are Kaiserkraft and I thought had the look of a chart, the flowers are from Wild Orchid Craft with the exception of the green one which is Magnolia. I have used a nestie, rub ons for the sentiment and ribbon from my stash. I used some glossy accents on Gillian's glasses.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges.
Stamp Something Cream & Green
Crafty Catz Yellow & Green
Allsorts Luck O' The Irish/Green
Creative Card Crew Green
Fab 'n' Funky All Things Green

I Know Why They Call It A Challenge Now!

Hello again and many thanks for visiting. I really don't know how some crafters have the time to post a new project everyday it takes me ages to actually make a card, though most of that time is sorting through hoards of stuff to find what I'm actually looking for! I long to have an organized craft room like Marlene it would be like dieing and going to heaven!!

My card today was made specifically for 2 challenges the first is 'Emma's Sketch' over at Sunday Sketch And Stamp its a great sketch and I've decided I like to follow a sketch it gives me somewhere to start!
I combined it with the 'Who Said 3's a Crowd' challenge at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge
- wow this made it more difficult! 3 patterned papers, 3 ribbons and 3 flowers makes for 1 very busy card!
I'm really pleased with what I 've done with the ribbons and will use that again in the future.
I've taken my new Buddy Lisa's advice and also entered this into the Sarah Hurley Challenge where the theme is 'Birthday Girl'
Thanks Lisa x
I am also entering this card into the Magical Monday Challenge  they have a theme of 'Flowers' I'm not sure if this fits their criteria but as my stamp is Fairytale Tilda I'm hoping it does.
Over at Top Tip Tuesday the theme is also 'Flowers', what a great blog I've already picked up quite a few new ideas!

Ingredients
Stamp: Magnolia Fairy Tale Collection
Papers: Kaiser Craft
Flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts
Colouring: Copics
Dies: Magnolia Swirl & Martha Stewart Frond Punch
Ribbon & Brads from stash
