OMG! What a start to the year - I'm 3 days late with my first post and this was the quickest card I've ever made!
After a crazy disastrous end to 2012 I had better hopes for 2013 then my daughter fell down 3 stairs and fractured her ankle and broke her leg in 3 places! They were operating on the 31st, then it got pushed back to the 1st then yes you guessed it was going to be yesterday but surprise surprise it was delayed again now its tomorrow (Friday)!
Hopefully I will be back to full blogging after this weekend (Work on Saturday and a trip to London to see the Jersey Boys on Sunday) and more importantly back to actually crafting - I'm suffering serious withdrawal!
The 1st of January saw the start of a new challenge at
HECK OF A CHALLENGE
and what a great theme for just after Christmas
Thank You
Like I said this was a super quick card as I'm trying not to let anyone else down!! I've been a disaster lately!!
This is a pre coloured image from a sheet by Mo Manning, I just added a bit of glitter to the wings, a Stampin' Up sentiment and tag punch and lots of flowers from WOC
Pop over to the Heck of A Challenge blog for all the details of the challenge and lots of much better crafting than my rushed attempt!
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and I wish you all a very Happy New Year, I promise to get to 'visit' all my lovely blog friends very soon!!
Love 'n' Hugs Laurie xx

Holy buckets, I hope your poor daughter is alright! And that the surgery goes well and she's up and about ASAP - and best wishes, maybe you should consider like February 1st your 'fresh start' new year considering how bad the real one was?! Either way, I hope things start looking up soon.

Why do all bad things happen at Christmas and New Year, your poor Daughter and how frustrating the Op being postponed so many times.
Bet you were at your wits end.
I had D & V over Christmas, Daughter went back Boxing Day and Sister had 2 fits on New Years Eve, kept on a trolley in a corridor till 6.30 in the morning, and everyone says the NHS is brilliant.
I wish I could make such a stunning card, under so much pressure, it is fabulous, great image and a fantastic flower display. It's no great shakes that you are late, better late than never. Great to see you back and hope the rest of the year is much, much better than the start.
