Oldie But Goodie Have a Heart

Good morning to you all it's time for another challenge at

OLDIE BUT A GOODIE

I hope today finds everyone happy and well?
I've now moved into the second week of my flu bug thingy and I'm so fed up with it, I was way ahead in my card making and now that's all been wiped out and I'm just keeping up again!

My very lovely teammie Debs has chosen the theme this week and she wants us all to

HAVE A HEART

This is a card I made for my best blogging buddy on her recent engagement. The stamp is actually donkey's years old but I still love it! It's from Bang On The Door and it always makes me smile. Check out the size of Lisa's rock!!

You can find all the details of this weeks challenge over on the main challenge blog along with details of this weeks prize. We are sponsored by

http://handcraftedespeciallyforyou.blogspot.com/

and while you are there check out the fabulous inspiration from my lovely teammies and whether or not you were amongst the winners of the last challenge.

I hope you will get a chance to join in the fun and play along, remember to tell us what on your card is over 6 months old.

A short and sweet post for me as I have a thick head!
Don't forget you still have time to enter my blogaversary candies

Moving Along With Things With Wings

Good Morning to you all lovely blogland people its time for a brand new challenge at

MOVING ALONG WITH THE TIMES

and this week the very lovely Pami has chosen

THINGS WITH WINGS

This is the 2nd time I have used this stamp - see I knew it was imperative I had it! I would like to use it more, but twice is really a lot for me when you see how many I have never used! The gorgeous gorgeous papers are from Maja Designs, I was first introduced to these by the lovely Jill, thank you Hunny they are DEVINE! I decided to go all monochromatic in my fave dusty pink as I had the exact right colour flowers from WOC and I coloured my flat back pearls in with Copics to match (you have to let them dry). I've sparkled her wings with glamour dust too.

I never get around to showing you the inside of my cards so for a change here's a little peek

The sentiment is from LCI and I promise it shows up more in real life!

We have a favourite sponsor back this week

the fantabulous

Bows Bows Bows @ The Ladybugs

Good Morning everyone its TLT time again and I'm here with a new challenge at

LADYBUGS CRAFT INK

and this week my lovely teamie Sue is hosting and she would like to see some

BOWS

on your cards - We all love a bow don't we?

I rarely make a card that doesn't have ribbon on! Not intentionally, I just like to finish it off with a nice bow!

I've used an old sketch for some inspiration, I'm sorry but I don't know where its from but I think its one of Bev Rochesters.  The fabulicious image is Bathtub Nikki available HERE at half price through January! I've been stocking up while this amazing offer is on all cling stamps at the LCI store!
Papers are MME Meadowlark. My sentiment is a Melissa Francis rub on and you can't see it on this picture but I've put glossy accents on the bath tub to make it look porcelain!

I hope you will all get time to play along with this challenge, remember the Ladybugs have gone fortnightly for now so you have 2 weeks to get your bows tied! You don't have to use an LCI image to join in but we love it when you do!
Head over to the main challenge blog page for all the details of this challenge, last weeks winners and some fabulous inspiration from my lovely team mates.

It's been quite difficult leaving comments on some blogs this last week, I've just changed my comment box to a pop up as many people think this will cure at least one problem! If I didn't get around to commenting on your blog it wasn't because I didn't try!

Thanks to everyone for visiting

4 BLOGAVERSARY CANDIES

EDITED

CANDY IS NOW OVER

WINNERS POST HERE

Well I may be a little late but I am here with my candy post at last! I'm back from my Nephews wedding and it was fabulous - 2 days of non stop partying, I now need a couple of weeks off to recover!

While I was away it was my 1st blogaversay, the year has gone so quickly and been so much fun, I've made some friends for life and learnt so much from my fellow crafters I want to offer a little blog candy to my followers as a thank you. Rather than one big candy I've decided to split it up into small chunks! I was doing 6 but ran out of time putting them together so here are 4! I just may get around to putting the other 2 together before I pick the winners, but if I didn't hurry up and get this posted it would be closer to my 2nd blogaversary!

There is a 'Favourite Paper' Candy with a My Minds Eye and a Bo Bunny 6x6 pad and some organza ribbons.

A "Pink & Girly' Candy with lots of different Wild Orchid Craft flowers, a Distress Ink Pad in Spun Sugar, A Pink Copic, several lengths of ribbon and a sheet of Flat Back Pearls.

An 'Alphabet' Candy with 8 different alphabets, 3 Rub On from Doodlebug in different sizes, 4 sticker sheets, 3 from Doodlebug and 1 from Papermania and a Chip Chatter chipboard set. Each one is a different colour.

And last but not least a 'Valentine' Candy made up from red roses in several different sizes again from WOC, 2 lengths of red ribbon, a pack of heart doilies, a pack of flat back red pearls in assorted sizes, 4 chipboard hearts in 2 sizes, red satin and flock padded hearts and red glitter die cut hearts.

THIS CANDY IS FOR MY FOLLOWERS ONLY

I will select 4 random winners from the comments left on this post

PS.

I forgot I wanted to show you what my fabulous Brother In Law made for me!

Now I'm going to need to go shopping to fill this baby up with Copics!

Thank you Bobby I love it!!

Back To Work @ Oldie But A Goodie

Good Morning blogland I hope all is well in your little corner of the blogworld. I'm slowly getting back into my crafty routine and today its time to resume normal services at

OLDIE BUT A GOODIE

but with a major twist!! Oldie But A Good has zoomed into the future and from now onwards you can use your digital images! How fab is that? and whats more it doesn't have to be 6 months old but something on your creation must be! That's right folks - as long as you tell us in your post what you have used that you have had for longer than 6 months you will be eligable for the faabulous prizes on offer each week.  I still have a gazillion stamps that I want to use that have been gathering dust lol!

Our lovely Janice is hosting this week for her first time on the DT

and she would like us all to get

BACK TO WORK

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details and some fabulous inspiration from the team, while you're there don't forget to check out the winner and top 3 of Tracy's 'Christmas Animals'

We have a fabulous new sponsor as we're now digi,
one of my favourites, the fantabulous

http://www.bugaboostamps.com/

and they are giving the winner 7 images of their choice!
I've had this little image tucked away waiting for me to colour her up and as the trimmings came down it was time to get back to normal cleaning duties around the house YUK! I've used my new Echo Park Happy Days paper pad.

I've not been the best of bloggers lately as I have a big family wedding this week but I promise I will be a much more frequent poster after this week is over and if I don't get my blogaversary candy up in time for my blogaversary I promise it will be up by the weekend!

That's all from me today

Happy happy happy new year to everyone I'm probably still fast asleep in bed as we've just had 2 of the busiest days and I'm out of practise at working! I was aching in places I didn't know I had!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year break and I hope you all got some new goodies in your stockings for crafting as you're going to need them this week as its Totally Ladybug Tuesday and that means a brand new challenge at

LADYBUGS CRAFT INK

and this week we challenge you to

Anything Goes with Some New Stash

All the details of this challenge can be found over at the main challenge blog page along with the winner and top 3 from the last challenge.

This card was a commission for a friend and I usually find these so difficult but when she said the recipient loves dogs I knew just the stamp to use! I've used Dog Walking Nikki available HERE

AND DON'T FORGET ALL CLING STAMPS ARE HALF PRICE THROUGH JANUARY! THAT'S AN AMAZING DEAL

I got some lovely new Copic Sketch Markers in lots of brown shades, I know that sounds boring but I love my copics and my BIL is building me some lovely new storage for them as this year I'm determined to sort out my stash and I got some fabulous units for Christmas from Storage for Crafts. I've used my all time old favourite papers from Making Memories and Nesties were cut on my Cuttlebug - which to my disgust I broke the other day - so a nice shiny new one is on the way to me as I speak (or type) flowers from WOC

Lorna loved her birthday card and I got some more commissions from it so everyone was happy!

Thank you for all your visits and comments throughout my year blogging I can't believe its been nearly a year!
