Lilac Bunnies for Oldie But A Goodie

A very good morning to all my lovely friends out there in blog land, we've just had a very soggy weekend and I hope it's dried up a bit for you, wherever you may be.

It's time for a new challenge at
but before I go into the details, I'd like to thank everyone who joined us for the last challenge, the winner and top 3 can be found on the main challenge blog page.
This week our blog leader, the very talented Francesca is hosting,
and she would like to see some

Easter Wishes
Here is what I came up with
I've used a LOTV image that was stamped and sent to me last year in a RAK from my good friend Lisa, lol I can't believe how long it's taken me to use it! Once again I've used MFT die cut flowers, I love these as much as my mini round cards lately!  The border and swirl are Doo Hickey dies. I dusted off the brads and ribbon from my stash. Image is coloured with Copics and Nesties used for the shapes.
A little peek inside again
Another obsession is decorating the inside, I'm hoping it will help use up the mountain of paper which I can't stop buying!
Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details of this challenge, the prize you can win and some inspiration from my lovely teammies.

Remember the new rules state you can use a digital image but don't forget to tell us what is old that you have used on your card.

I'm away at my Mums for a couple of days, so I apologise if I haven't been around much, what with work and getting ready for the start of our summer season there isn't enough hours in the day!

Thank for visiting
Love 'n' Hugs Laurie xx

Really Reasonable Ribbon - Spring With Ribbon

Those of you that have been following the new release daily will notice that both of these images from the soon to be released TEENAGERS have already been previewed this week, but today its my turn to show you what I have done with them.

First up is TEXTING JESS I really love this little lady - she reminds me of my daughter!

Inside to compliment the front

Special Ladies @ MAWTT

Good Morning blog land I hope all is well in your corner of the world.
Thursday already !! and time for a new challenge at
and this week my lovely friend Pam is hostess with the mostest and she has chosen

'Special Ladies'

If you haven't yet made your Mothers Day card, now's a good time or if you have then as long as your card is for a 'Special' Lady we want to see it!

I can't keep away from these little round cards lol, my excuse is I made an awful lot of square ones first! I've used Floppy Latte Designs Floral Frame from this weeks sponsor
Stitchy Stamps

I thought the frame was screaming "cut me out" but I think it was saying "only an idiot would spend so long cutting me out"
 It took me ages!
But....I do like it so maybe it was worth the effort lol
The marble paper was a gift from a Teammie and I painted some chipboard letters with my paint dabbers. The little butterflies are a punch.
Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details of this weeks challenge, the prize details and some fabulous inspiration from the DT. The new DT are debuting today so make sure you show them some extra special lurrrve! I'm a little sad as Sandra has decided to step down from the DT for a while, but hopefully she will come back one day soon!

I hope all you ladies out there get totally ruined on Mother's Day - I will be at work as usual!

Swingin' The Blues

Hello lovely people I'm back with another little card to share with you today that I made a few weeks ago and didn't get around to posting.

But before I show you I have to tell you the exciting goings on at
LADYBUGS CRAFT INK
Its a new release but with a fabulous twist!

Kerry has been working her little socks off to come up with two brand new characters and everyday a different member of the DT will be showcasing different images - so thats a new release everyday with prizes up for grabs everyday too!
That's right, the two images released each day will be won one by one lucky commenter EVERY DAY! for 2 weeks!
To keep up with the events check in at the LCI challenge blog each day, there you will find all the details and all the winners!
My turn is a little later in the week so keep checking back, here's a sneaky peak of whats in store from me!

Don't forget to visit LCI for todays release from the head Ladybug herself, Kerry

Now for my card. I made this a few weeks ago and never got around to posting it, and as I didn't have a card to post today I thought it was a good opportunity to put this up! Ideally I would have liked to post an LCI card but unfortunately I wasn't organised enough!
The image is of course LOTV and now I've actually used it 3 times! Shock horror it will be worn out at this rate! I've used my lovely favourite rolled roses die and the papers are Stampin' Up,  the ribbon, lace and butterfly were all from my stash. I'm trying to be much better at actually using my stash and not saving things!

Thank you for checking in with me today, I have Lisa (My Makes 'n' Me) and her partner Michael coming for supper tonight and I hope we'll sneak a bit of crafting in!
I've been busy at work this week getting ready for the start of a new summer season but I promise I'll find some time to visit everyone later this week

and this week it's Moi hosting and I would like your creations to be
AS CUTE AS A BUTTON!

So that means I'd like to see a button on your work somewhere please and keep it cute!

I don't think it gets much cuter than this gorgeous little Baby Peapod from this weeks sponsor

http://www.stampfairy.com/

Yes it's another mini round card but I can't help it! The fabby star buttons have been in my stash for years and I'm making this big effort to use stuff that I keep hoarding (I'll regret it when I can't replace it) lol The letters were cut out with a Quickutz die

Head over to the main challenge blog for all the details of this challenge and don't forget to check out the fabby cute  makes from the rest of the DT.
If you would like to join us at MAWTT you still have time to apply to the DT call.

That's all from me today, thank you to everyone who visits

Mum's The Word @ Oldie But Goodie!

Good Morning lovely bloggers, or should I say not so good as the weather has gone mad again here! Surely all this rain should help with the drought they were talking about last week!

It's time for a brand new challenge today at
and it's little old me that's hosting this week!
I decided to be organised (for the first time in my life) and make sure my card was ready for that Special Lady in my life in plenty of time! So this week...

Mum's The Word

I'm thinking Mothers Day but there's no reason you can't use a birthday card for your Mum too.

Now my Mother has a good sense of humour (she had to after having me!) so this Stella from sponsor Bugaboo was an ideal choice, and I added my own sentiment to the inside
Sorry about the grey picture of the inside, even Photoshop couldn't brighten this up yesterday! I'm lovin' these spots and stripes 6x6 pads from Echo Park, regular visitors will be fed up with them I'm sure!
I have to use them at least once a week lol
About 18 months ago I had to make lots of menu's and place cards for a function using red roses and as usual for me I bought far too many and these are left over from then.

We have a fabulous sponsor
http://www.bugaboostamps.com/

They are giving the winner

I was lucky enough to win a challenge sponsored by Bugaboo the other week and I could have chosen a hundred stamps - they are all so much fun!

Head over to the main challenge blog for some more inspiration from the DT.

Remember the new rules state you can use a digital image but don't forget to tell us what is old that you have used on your card.
Thanks for lookingLove 'n' Hugs

Hazel's Sketch @ MAWTT

A very good morning to all my lovely blog friends. Can you believe it's March already!
I'm back with my 3rd day in a row post! Its DT time again today at
and this week the big boss lady Hazel is in charge and she has given us this lovely little sketch to work with.
 .
Now I liked this one as its quite simple and you can have a lot of fun with it adding your own take on all the deets!
I've been dying to use this little piggy 'Pickles' since I first saw him on my friend Jill's blog and I finally got around to him! He is by FairyDoodler at Teddy Bo and available HERE.
Coloured with my beloved Copics, the papers are new from DCWV, and I'm obsessed with these MFT flower dies at the minute!
I'm obsessed with decorating the inside too!
Not that you can tell from these pictures but I assure you the inside and outside ARE the same colours!
I hope you noticed - not a mini round card all week!

We are sponsored this week by the fabulous
